This means that Porunga personally considers Mai to not be a bad person, and/or she went to heaven when she died. This is despite the fact that she tried to kill a child Goku and his friends several times, terroized countless people, and even helped unleash demon king piccolo who very nearly ended the earth himself.
It is possible that Mai is so prone to failure that even cosmic forces do not take her seriously as a danger to others. Or, perhaps Porunga is just biased. Or maybe he also has warped morals.
I am confused about gaddafi's attitude towards women. Judging from his green book women should only be wifes and mothers and stay at home but during his rule women were encouraged to go out , take jobs, even in the military. What is your opinion about this ?

I think you might have read the Greenbook too fast if that's your takeaway from it. Because it's a little more nuanced.
He never said women should only be wives and mothers. It was his opinion that the average mother with young kids would prefer to stay home with her children if money were no object, instead of putting them in daycare, and that pretty much any baby would rather stay home with its own mom instead of going to daycare - his complaint was that the unpaid labor women do in the home raising kids doesn't get the same respect as paid work outside the home does, and he thought that was really unfair. (at the time I first read the Green Book, I was a stay at home mom with three kids under 5 and getting treated like dirt by my husband and society for not having "a real job" so that really resonated with me)
And he said that expecting a woman to both work outside the home in a paid job AND be responsible for all the unpaid household labor on top of it was "tyranny."
Now I'll admit some of the things he thinks about women are a little old-fashioned and sexist, and he did say that biology gave men and women their own separate roles that complement each other and bla bla bla. For instance he thinks women aren't suited for manual labor because they're delicate little flowers whose beauty would get ruined if they worked too hard.
But he never said women shouldn't have jobs at all. He understood that most women want or need to work outside the home.
One of the very first laws he passed was equal pay for equal work, another was raise the minimum for marriage to either 16 or 20 (I'm not sure which is accurate) gave women equal right to divorce, equal rights for girls to go to school (I've seen statistics and graphs about all this, the jump in enrollment for females is drastic and took effect almost overnight after he came into power) own property, drive cars and so much more. He was light years ahead of most of his Arab neighbors and most western countries as well in the early 70s.

As you consider these themes, I would like to ask you to extend your thoughts to Fadel. Like the fictional protagonist Sammie, Fadel is a talented, kind, young adult who has dreams for his life and enduring love for his family and community.
He is a disabled and injured Palestinian in Gaza, part of a population who much of the world reduces to their suffering and deaths, as if their early death is an inevitability. It is not. It is preventable.
He is alive right now. You can message him, check in on him, extend your love and care to him ( @fadel-dani ). He needs some money to get to a hospital resourced enough to treat his injuries after a bombing. I know you can empathize with being in pain, with health care being inaccessible and stunningly expensive. You have common humanity with him. You understand him.
Fadel is not a story. His future is not fated or scripted or set in stone. The way his life unfolds is entirely dependent on the social systems around him and the decisions of people who have resources, especially people like us who are not in active genocide, who get pay checks every couple weeks or every month.

Shira is a Turkish trans woman who was the victim of attempted murder by a man on the street who realized she was transfemme. After he stabbed her, dozens of people walked by her on the sidewalk until a teenager stopped and helped her.
Shira is now in the hospital in critical condition. She’s undergone emergency surgery and will need multiple operations and long-term care to recover—physically and emotionally.
Shira has no close family nearby, is not accepted by public organizations in Turkey because she is trans, and she’s unable to work while she heals. Her friends are raising funds to cover her medical bills, therapy, and basic living expenses during this painful time.

i'm a disabled south american trans woman and things are rough. my mom is still undergoing cancer treatment and because of my disability and the fact that i'm a trans woman i can only find jobs doing odd gigs.
