Sorry to hijack, but this is misleading. YouTube is using AI to change the quality of the videos - hence why people report weird shadows and smoothing - but not the substance. If you study the Showgirl promo videos, you can see that objects disappear, fonts change, and words are spelled incorrectly. Those are hallmarks of AI-generated content. I’m not condoning YouTube’s use of AI here (and definitely not Taylor/her team’s). I just think it’s especially important in this day and age to be cognizant of how these technologies work and how they’re targeted and operate on specific platforms. While it has its use cases, generative AI is something that can be quite harmful. Let’s be technologically knowledgeable together!
