only for Rocky to get more and more tired as the experiment goes on just to realize that Grace isn’t which makes him panic so he puts as much distance as he can between them and finds a (hopefully) safe spot to sleep and when he wakes up the human is crouching over him like “got youuu” and Rocky has never shrieked so damn loud before in his life

Im exactly halfway through Iron Lung and very concerned (+ scared). All the fanart i’ve seen of simon has him covered head to toe in blood, with an arm missing, and/or with alien mutation skin teeth thing. He currently has minimal blood, two arms, and a normal amount of teeth. What could possibly happen in the next hour

They are both terrified one day one of them will outlive the other because the core of every tragedy is that someone has to leave first so they make plans and goodbye letters when that day comes since neither of them know how Erid will effect their health in the long run or what kind of obstacles they will face/

Expect that Simon has turned into a tree/eel/eldritch combo and Grace slowly became more Eridian over time so now both of them are just staring at each decades later with barely any signs of aging on either of them with a silent understanding that something might be more wrong with them then they initially thought.
