Introducing: The 2025 Rogue Trader Kinktober Master List

What is Kinktober?

Kinktober is a fandom event where writers and artists come together to create new works based on a pre-selected list of kinks. You can do as many prompts as you want, ignore the ones you don't like, or switch them out for a different kink.

This event begins October 1st, and runs through October 31st

What are the Rules?

What am I, a cop? There are none. You can have fics as long as 5k, or as short as 500 words, any pairings, any characters, as long as it's based in Rogue Trader and aligns with a prompt. Want to do more than one prompt at a time? That's fine too!

How should I post?

My suggestion would be to start a new fic, and have each chapter titled by it's prompt(s), or start a new series for them! If there's enough interest in this, I can also look to create a Collection :)

I don't wanna text dump her entire story here, but the gist is she's a free-flying rolling rockrete before becoming a Rogue Trader. She has more of an adventurer's spirit in her than a crime lord's — it just so happened that the path of crime was the easiest way for her to chase whatever sparked her interest, and she was good at that.

Beneath all the swagger and confidence, Lynara had developed a problem facing the impermanence of life in general. Crew come and go, friends leave one way or another, usually by death or sometimes betrayal, and there was never a place to call a permanent home. She had learnt to keep to herself and will default to her crime lord persona to push away her vulnerabilities.

It took some time for her to accept her role as Rogue Trader, but having support from the most unexpected of places helped push things along quite well. By the time of the Magnae Accesio, she had completely embraced her new life, and began to see life again in the way she did a long time ago.
