It came and it went. This Ramadan has been the fastest in my life.
And if no one understands, be sure that Allāh azza wa jal will..
Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the Fire of Hell
“Wanna hangout?” Actually, I have to do something in a few weeks so I need to stay home and rest until then, thanks though!
In the final days of Ramadan, may Allah answer your secret prayers, wipe away your secret tears, erase your secret fears and lift you to the position you so dearly desire
In your duaas this Ramadan, don’t forget to include the mother who put her dreams on the back shelf to raise you, and the father who works day and night to make sure you have a roof over your head.
They are a blessing from Allah ‘al-zuwajal. Thank Him for it.
One day you will realise this dunya has dun ya.
Not ready for Ramadan to leave us this soon😭
(يأيها الذين امنو عليكم انفسكم)
“Take care of your souls.”
— Surah al Ma'idah 5:105
(“وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا)
“And speak to people kindly.”
— Surah al-Baqarah 2:83
( وبالوالدين إحسانا )
“And to parents do good.”
— Surah al-’Isra’ 17:23
I’m not sure whether I was feeling a little patriotic in the moment this capture was made… in that the primary tones of this image are red and white - the colours of the Maltese flag. Maybe subconsciously…?
But colour aside - I find this doorway so very scrumptious and suggestive; the bougainvillea flower is such a deep cherry or crimson-like red, it’s so fiery, and intense, I was mesmerised for minutes before I actually took a photo. We are blessed with warm Mediterranean weather which makes all flowers bloom and blossom.
What a beautiful feeling; Quran. Dua. Taraweeh. Suhoor. Ifthar. Forgiveness. Imaan. We will miss you Ramadan!
Soon we will say: “I wish the whole year was like Ramadan” So please push a little more in the final days!
Imam Ahmad was asked:“What’s the distance between us and the Throne of Ar-Rahman?”
He replied: “A sincere du'a from a sincere heart.
It’s not about how you started the race, but how you end it that matters. Our deeds are judged by their conclusions, so if you didn’t do well with welcoming Ramadhan, then perhaps we’ll do better at saying goodbye to it. Make the most of the last few days of this blessed month.
Allahumma laa taj'alid-dunya akbara hummina.
o Allah, please don’t make this dunya our biggest concern.
At this stage I just need to go to the mosque and cry.
I just want to know if Allah loves me.
If you’re someone who regularly can wakes up in the middle of the night and prays to Him, and you’re someone who can abandon your desires with the intention of pleasing Him, then know that such a person must be loved because such people are only a few and not many get the delight of those achieving those two things…
Imagine the One who chooses what your future will be like, loves you… what a future you’ll have.
