We called it cheating then. Now, we are doing it and calling it diversity. (Fair play went out the window years ago..)
If women transitioning to men became faster and stronger than biological men, and started beating them at sport, how long do you think it would be allowed to continue?
In 2016 Russia was banned from the Olympics because they were caught doping their athletes. The doping and steroids were giving their athletes an undo advantage over the other world athletes.
Now, here it is 2024, and the Olympic Committee has opened the door to allow transgender women to compete in the Women's Competitions for medals.
The trans women have an advantage of bigger bones and stronger muscle structure over the by birth women.
I think the Olympic Committee owe the Russians an apology..
The saying's: rights aren't a pie, more for me, doesn't mean less for you. Yet it seems the rights of trans athletes take precedence over the rights, and most importantly, safety, of athletes who were born female. I never see stories of females transitioning to males and routing the competition in track, swimming, boxing, etc. Female athletes had to have legislative action to have the same rights, and that's all going down the drain now.
Women and girls should not have a to give up sport. They should not have to give up everything they have worked hard for and risk their sponsorships or scholarships.
Years ago, Nike had a very compelling ad campaign “If You Let Me Play Sports”. Little girls explaining that if you let me play sports, I’ll be more likely to go to college, I’ll build self esteem, and most poignantly, I’ll be less likely to let a man beat me. Now we’ve completely abandoned these same girls, stolen their sports, and are now sanctioning men actually physically beating them in the face for a medal.
Women should continue to turn up to compete, but if they are asked to compete against a trans woman, they should refuse.
If all female athletes do this, maybe the sporting authorities may begin to believe there is something wrong.
It is not even sport anymore, just a spectacle.
Olympics organisers are just too weak to tell it like it is. It’s not sport, it’s bullying, and not worth watching.
Trans need their own category.
I don’t see paralympic athletes compete against the regular Olympic athletes.
How can anyone think this is right or fair?
We as a society should take a stand by boycotting the Olympics. But will that happen?
Why aren’t women on the left more supportive of women in sports? This is very much an anti-woman issue, not anti-trans.
Why does a woman have to die before everyone understands that allowing mediocre talented males to compete against women is unfair?
When will this madness stop!?

I believe the transgender need their own sports. A male boxing with a female is so wrong. I believe they have a right to do whatever they want with their body. And their personal life, but don't believe it is fair at all for them to compete.
Hopefully, people will pay attention to issues like this and vote accordingly.
