All parents damage their children. It cannot be helped. Youth, like pristine glass, absorbs the prints of its handlers. Some parents smudge, others crack, a few shatter childhoods completely into jagged little pieces, beyond repair.

ksxiaolu:
ââyah, yah!â and here he goes again, with the whining. xiaolu, exasperated, leaned back and crossed her arms. there was a strand of hair in her face which she tucked behind her ear in an annoyed manner. âoh, alright, fine. but iâll tell then it was your idea, okay?â she really wasnât on boat with the sneaking, and still with sangjun using his âcutenessâ to try and convince her that his idea was perfect, that fear of hers was still programmed inside her skull.Â
immediately, she made a âfaceâ at him, one she always did when something heâd said didnât quite mesh well with her own morals. she sat up, leaning forward once again, and tried to stretch her arms across the coffee table, grabbing at her notebook and pencils. ânow give those back to me. i need them for studying, you know.âÂ
a smirk curled onto his lips when she caved into his sneaky plan and nodded to her deal since getting blamed for trying to sneak into a classroom wasnât nearly as bad as getting caught for smoking weed, as he had experienced a couple times in the past. âdeal,â he pulled back at all of her studying tools towards his chest and immediately grabbed his backpack to stuff them inside, hiding them from her. âno way. this is my only way of keepinâ you from running away if we get caught. iâm not going to be alone if it happens.â
his tongue stuck out at her while his fingers fiddled with the zipper and got up, pulling his bag over his shoulder. xiaolu was definitely going to attack him in some way for stealing her notes, but she barely made dents into his skin every time she attempted to. âletâs go.â he murmured as he walked over to her side of the table, holding out his hand for her.
helloooo o o o, here to talk about the event for sangjun! iâm not actually going to be participating in the event so iâll just be doing my regular threads whenever i can. if you wanna plot somethinâ with sangjun that doesnât concern the event, hmu in the dms. other than that, iâll be quiet on the dash. good luck with the event, everyone!
ksjaehyun:
Watching Sangjun immediately bite into the still semi-warm taiyakihad Jaehyun feeling some type of way. The misfit was simultaneously washed overwith a feelings of love and disgust. It warmed his heart to see the stonerstill dig in with the excitement of a child opening presents on Christmas morningtime after time. However, at the same time watching him stuff his face with anentire pancake was not a very pleasing sight to the eyes. That boy was just ascareless with his things as he was with his food, and the number one target forthis abuse was his backpack. Glancing down, Jaehyun noticed it precariouslyhanging off the lower bench like it always was and no doubt inside was hislaptop among other precious things. With a sigh the misfit reached down andpulled it off the edge to safety, placing it by Sangjunâs feet instead before takingthe cigarette case from the other boy. Now this, this is what he was lookingforward to.
âGladly,â Jaehyun agreed, picking his joint of choosing andholding it over the kindly lit flame. He held it there for a few seconds, just longenough for the end to light up and start smoking. He took a quick puff to makesure they had it going and once he was sure a smile cracked on his lips, therewe go. Jaehyun wasted no time taking the first hit, inhaling the smoke into hislungs and holding it there before blowing it out in the opposite direction.Smooth, just how he liked it. He misfit held out the small nub between hisfingers for Sangjun to take a turn, that he would take if he ever dropped thetaiyaki. âYah your turn, if you can tear yourself away from the fishies forlong enough. Some of those are for me too by the way.â Jaehyun pouted lookingat the rapidly decreasing pile of treats as he reached over and pick up one ofthe red bean ones for himself to try.
the hungry stoner looked over at jaehyun with a raised brow after hearing that all of the snacks werenât just his, feeling a little disappointed that the large amount of taiyaki wasnât all his but he knew in the back of his mind that his best friend wasnât that generous, especially to him. âdamn you. i was on a roll here.â sangjun replied with a cheek full of pastry before handing the bag over to the other. he carefully swapped the joint from jaehyunâs fingers to his own and set it between his lips, softly breathing in to let the smoke fill his airways. he kept the tight feeling in his chest for a few seconds before parting his lips to let the thick smoke out before sucking it back in, only to fully exhale after. he noticed the other students sitting beside them looking over their shoulders since the smell was already strong, raising his brows at them before turning his head to look at jaehyun.
âwe always have a crowd whenever we sit here. they never like to mind their own business.â sangjun mumbled in an annoyed tone, holding the joint out for the other to take his turn while he could have another piece of the tasty pastry. âand if they wanna come join, all they gotta do is ask!âÂ

kseunhwan:
Sitting on the floor was actually giving his feet a rest for awhile, which was actually quite nice. Though he could see how this could be quite worrying to someone who had just knocked him over. âWhy are you waving your hand in my face? I said i was fine,â he was just too tired to try and make the effort to try and stand up again for the time being. Though as people were starting to look a little weirdly at him, Eunhwan eventually gave up with the small plan to give his feet a rest ad instead took the offered hand to help hoist himself to his feet.Â
âFour fingers and one thumb,â he added, brushing himself down with his hands, âI did say that there was nothing wrong.â While the initial bump had dazed him for a moment as he simply hadnât been expecting it to happen, there was no permanent damage. Which was good, though would have given him a perfect excuse to miss his lecture.Â
sangjun pulled the boy up and off the floor with ease - a little surprised at how light he was, but he expected it from someone that size - and brushed his own clothes off afterwards. he offered the other a small, timid smile as he was embarrassed by his own clumsiness that he made the other fall over. âwell... i can never be too careful. you can say that youâre fine, but there can also be somethinâ wrong up there.â he tapped his finger against his temple, biting on the inside of his lip.
he wasnât sure or not if he should offer the other some kind of apology gift or if he should just move on and head to his class, but he figured that since he had already helped the other up, it wouldnât hurt to give something more. âi, uh- i feel bad for bumping into you like that and probably ruining your day. do you want anything? like food? or a drink?â he gestured to the vending machine. âor- we can go grab a bite; my treat.â
ksjaehyun:
Finally, there he was. Seeing the laughs coming tumbling out of Sangjunâs lips turned Jaehyunâs scowl into an even bigger scowl. âDonât laugh, itâs cold as fuck outhere!â he called out at the approaching figure. âAish, I canât believe youwanted to meet here even with the weather like this. Not like you have a dormroom or anything⊠Mmm no meal for you,â he said, shaking his head as the other was finallyclose enough to hear. His words obviously didnât pull the best response and now it was the misfitâs turn to smile. It was so easy to get a rile outof Sangjun sometimes with his one track mind.
âKidding, sit your ass down.â Jaehyun rolled his eyes as he motioned to the vast emptyspace around them as he pulled his backpack into his lap and pulled out thesurprise inside. Sangjun was notorious for being a persistent glutton when itcame to nosing around for food and especially Jaehyunâs food but being the goodfriend he was he usually gave it up or at least shared a portion with the otherboy. However after a while always losing his snacks for the day began to getannoying so as a simple quick fix he just began to pack double, some for himand some for the stoner who was always lurking about. For the most part he justtoted around convenience store snacks but today something special lined hisbag, okay perhaps not all that special but it definitely beat the usual cheap 1000won kimbap he had.
âHere,â Jaehyunhanded the stoner a brown paper bag that was stuffed with taiyaki, sweet fishshaped pancakes that were filled with red bead and nutella. When it came tosnacks the misfit really knew how to please, honestly heâd become prideful ofhow good his snack game was lately. âLucky you, I had to head into town thismorning for an appointment so I stopped by the taiyaki stand you like. Now Ibelieve you have something for me too?â Pulling his frozen hand from his pocket,he stuck it out to the other boy, both of them really knowing what he wanted, the only thing that Sangjun always had in good supply.
sangjun only rolled his eyes at the amount of complaints that the older one had despite being the one who had decided that this would be their âspotâ long before the present day. the bleachers were always going to be where their laughs, crimes, tears, and cringe-worthy secrets were shared with each other, even if it was in the low to negative temperatures. in fact, they hung out there so much that he noticed that people would leave that space open just for them and sit around it.Â
a rough groan escaped sangjun as he plopped down beside jaehyun, pulling off his bag at the same time to throw onto the lower bench. (he was always so careless with his things, even when electronics as important as his laptop were stored inside.) the boy held his hand out automatically, in perfect timing with the other as the brown bag fit right onto his palm, immediately being warmed up by the warm food item inside. âoh shit- this is steaming.â sangjun exclaimed, quickly bouncing the bag back and forth between both of his hands. his brows raised at the sound of what was inside, mouth gaping open. âyou got me taiyaki?! i love you!â he cried, loud enough for the other students around them to hear and give looks, but the stoner didnât care. if he was going to show his love for his friends, everyone is gonna hear it. he quickly dug into his food, mouth full when he realized what jaehyun wanted.
âah- thatâs right. i rolled new ones last night,â he set his food into his lap and dug his palm into his thick pockets, pulling out his metal cigarette case that was filled with their paper-wrapped addiction. he passed the case to jaehyun and fished again for his lighter, quickly taking it out. âyou start.â he mumbled, flicking the lighter on to reveal the flame.

kskyoso:
he really did not like mornings all too much. it honestly took a lot of effort to even get him up in the morning and it was why his phone was equipped with five different alarms just minutes after each other to try and get him up, and if that didnât work he had bought an alarm which required actually getting out of bed to turn off. he did normally drag himself out from under the covers before the last alarm went off, though that particular morning he just couldnât find the effort to wake up properly. it had taken a good half an hour of laying around and procrastinating until he actually got washed and dressed. even as he left his dorm he was regretting it, slinging his bag over his shoulder and quickly reaching for his phone in his pocket. it didnât take him very long to get completely involved on what was going on on the screen instead of paying much attention to where he was going. which was probably why it was relatively easy for someone just to bump into him and send him backwards to the ground. for someone who was supposed to have great balance, this was not a good thing.Â
âmy fault,â he was quick to say with a smile, reaching for his phone. thankfully the screen wasnât cracked, then maybe he would have been mad. though he didnât take the offered help, spending half of his life on the floor after falling after a jump, it was pretty easy to jump back up to his feet again. âiâm good, no harm done,â he wasnât hurt, his phone wasnât cracked and he was pretty sure there was no harm to the other male either, âeverything is fine.â
sangjun couldnât help but feel bad that the other displayed a smile as kind as it was, considering it was so early in the morning and a fall as random and hard as that was more than enough to ruin someoneâs morning. he pulled his hand back as the other stood up, scrunching his nose slightly, trying to find a way to offer more than just an apology. sangjun wouldnât be able to go on with his day if he just left the guy with a mere âsorryâ and act like nothing happened. he glanced at behind him to where the vending machines stood, parting his lips to speak hesitantly, his awkwardness consuming him as he gestured towards the machines with his thumb.
âcan i.. can i treat you to anything from the machines or something? i canât just let ya go like this, it doesnât feel right to, um, me.â he mumbled the last part in a low voice, scratching the side of his nose with his nail. he hoped it wasnât too pushy and that the other would flat out reject him, but the guy seemed nice enough to let him down softly if that was the case.Â

once sheâd gotten his attention, she could feel herself automatically brighten. it didnât take much for the stoner to waver, she had her ways of persuasion which strangely didnât work on others except sangjun. her hands pulled back and she grinned.Â
âalright,â she straightened up, switching between settling her gaze on the coffee table and the ceiling. the library was obviously off limits, because of the 4 oâ clock peaktime, which could also apply to the grounds surrounding the school. âcliques would have inhabited the spots underneath the treesâŠâ a shame, since she really liked sitting in the shade.Â
but when he suggested the lecture hall, and sneaking, she gave him a worried look. âah, sneakingâŠ? thereâs a possibility we might get caught, though.â
knowing the timid and nervous nature of xiaolu, he figured that she wouldnât be all that psyched about his idea of sneaking into a lecture hall, but he also knew that he had the power to convince her to go along with his plans. sangjun pouted a bit at her, using his âcutenessâ to try and push her towards accepting the idea and putting it into action with him.Â
âcâmon. itâs been a while since we did something fun like that! and itâs after hours, barely anyone but students are in those halls and they never pay attention to anybody but themselves.â he reached over to pull her notebook and pencils towards him, taking all of her resources away from her. âif you refuse, youâre not getting any of these back.â

ksxbitna:
ăââââĄă she wasnât a morning person, but she damn sure made it work for her. the ever-growing to do list was a form of motivation that nothing else could top, not even the gorgeous morning sun (that only made her eyes sting) or the first trip to the gym (that only left her sweaty and sore). knowing that she had places to be, shit to do and people to terrify put a little pep in her step, and naturally most people parted out of her way as she moved through the halls, her criminology class being the first destination of the day. in her mind, she was unstoppableâ at least, until she got stopped, and not in a way that she ever would have wanted.
in a split second bitna was on the floor, coffee pouring out onto the tile floors and soaking her folders of notes, while she was disoriented, stuck between the initial shock and rage that quickly followed after. of course her instinct was to yell, raise hell and make him regret being born, but to be honest there was not nearly enough caffeine in her body for her to reach that level yet. âyeah, no shit. mind watching where youâre going next time?â she scoffed, eyes rolling hard as she held her hand up to deny his help. âno, forget about it. you think i want you messing up more of my shit?â
her reaction to him was... less than what he hoped for. his throat went a little dry at her words of rejection towards his help, but he wouldnât take no for an answer from her. it was in his nature to help and even if she was spitting insults and curses at him, even if she was already annoying the fuck out of him, he was going to do what he could for her. his tongue clicked against the roof of his mouth, head tilting a bit in trying to save his comebacks for later. âsure.â he pulled his hand back and moved over to try and gather her papers into a stack, looking for ones that looked similar to each other. he eyed her to make sure she wasnât going to attack him at any point.Â
he wasnât exactly sure who she was since none of the schoolâs politics or hierarchy of any sort interested him enough to keep up with, but just from the demeanor of this girl and her attempt at being the dominant one was more than enough to signal that she was one of those kids; the ones that he noticed walking around the school and had the other students staring or whispering about them. the ones that thought they were the shit. sangjun didnât really care about these kids, but this was indeed the first time heâd truly interacted with one. he gathered her papers and held them out for her to take. âhere.â

kseunhwan:
After spending most of the previous night and the early hours of the morning bent over his desk under his study light, much to the complaint of his roommate, it was needless to say that Eunhwan was feeling somewhat tired that morning. It had taken a full blown argument in his head for him to actually consider getting up out of bed with enough time to get ready for his lecture that morning. In retrospect, maybe the studying hadnât been the best idea, but he always felt that it was better to get things done as soon as possible instead of just putting them all off and then ending up cramming everything in at the last second. Though as he somehow managed to drag his feet towards the vending machine, stifling a yawn on the way, he found himself seriously considering going back to bed and just skipping on the lecture - which would certainly be a first for him.Â
Standing behind the figure already there, Eunhwan ran a hand back through his hair, hiding another yawn behind his other hand. He blamed the fact he was half asleep for what occurred next. Next thing he realized he was sitting on the floor, just a little dazed and confused about what events had happened for him to end up in this position. Something about being bumped into and falling backwards, probably.Â
âHuh?â He responded after a moment, glancing down just to make sure that all his limbs were still in tact. âYeah⊠Iâm fine. No harm done,â even though he said those words, he made no attempt to try and get up just yet.Â
sangjunâs expression was blank as he looked at the tiny, disoriented boy that sat quietly in front of him. it was as if the bump hadnât truly processed within the otherâs brain and sangjun was actually beginning to get a little worried that his larger body had shaken up something in the otherâs head. he was also shocked to see a boy as small as the un-named one in front of him at a school with a reputation such as keisung. it could have been merely because of the otherâs size, but he looked like he belonged somewhere that was... a little more pampered.Â
sangjun held his hand out to the other, waving a bit in front of his face with raised brows. âare you sure youâre okay? how many fingers am i holding?â he stretched out all five of his fingers in front of him, giving him a number of fingers while also offering to help him up at the same time.

ksxiaolu:
a brow lifted up in surprise, and she studied his sulky appearance. well, she couldnât fully disagree with his statement, especially when there was something like the clique system in place, which she believed only did more harm than good. the negatives always outweighed the positives, to nobodyâs surprise, but that was an issue better left dealt with at another time. right now she needed her attention on sangjun, since studying her notes were a lost cause.Â
she reached out across the coffee table to softly poke at the middle of his head, pouting while she did. âaw, câmon. you were the one that brought it up.â her fingers kept on poking him. âsangjun~ letâs not sulk now~ you really canât think of a place? iâll help you think of one.âÂ
his eyes were closed when he felt her finger tapping over and over against his sensitive forehead, brows immediately furrowing and his skin wrinkling. he wouldâve slapped anyone elseâs hand away at this point, but just because it was xiaolu, he let the action slide. his head lifted slightly to reveal his pointy eyes that stared right at her, noticing the pout that she had on her face.Â
damn, those eyes; those lips. he always caved into those.Â
another sigh escaped him as he sat back up properly and twirled his pen around his fingers, returning his attention back to her. âfine, then. help me think,â he moved back in a little closer to her before continuing. âif itâs 4 oâclock right now... cafeteria and library would definitely be filled to the brim. mmh...â he tapped on his forehead, trying to think of a suitable place for them. suddenly, it was like a light bulb went off in his head. â..we could totally sneak into a lecture hall.â

she pondered over the thought for a moment. while murdering him did sound nice, since heâd given her permission and all, then what was she waiting for? xiaolu watched him, eyes rolling once he nuzzled against her shoulder. sheâd do herself a favourâŠ
âaigoo, youâre a baby,â she said, puckering her lips. âthen where do you propose we move to, hm? i donât mind where it is, as long as i can study without any disturbance.â the dorms were a perfect place to study when the library was just too packed. the recent surge of students hadnât made it any easier to find a spare spot, since theyâd always be some hanging around, talking to their friends.Â
his head lifted from her shoulder with a smack of his lips, trying to think of a spot where they could be alone, in silence and he would still be able to have fun. it didnât help that many of the cliques on school grounds had their own spaces that were often taken up by a few students at a time and anywhere else was basically the middle of nowhere. he sat in silence for a moment, realizing that he was just going to have to accept the fact that they were stuck in the dorm and he would need to create his own methods of entertainment.Â
his lips curved into a small frown as he turned his body inwards to face the tiny coffee table that they were using, grumbling as he mumbles, ânevermind. this school is shitty.â he crossed his arms on top of his textbook and pressed his forehead to his arms in despair.Â
@sangjunks
ugh, mirai thought, pulling up the collar of her jacket as she rubbed her hands together. she had only just stepped outside, but nevertheless, it was cold. she pulled out her phone as she quickened her pace, dialing sangjunâs number. âhey,â she said. âi donât care if you have plans. cancel them, because weâre going clubbing and after that weâre gonna hit up whatever concertâs in town. i wanna get shitfaced as soon as possible so donât keep me waiting. iâm outside. you canât miss me.â she hung up quickly, uninterested in any response sangjun might have had. it was better to keep the phone call short and concise. because even though she often invited him out on nights like this, mirai wouldnât necessarily say sangjun was a friend of hers. an acquaintance was more like itâafter all, they only ever hung out when they were clubbing and getting wasted. she sighed impatiently, forcing a polite smile on her face despite her growing agitation. âhe better hurry up.â
wednesday nights were usually a time for sangjun to be laying in bed, reading a book - but itâs actually just laying on top of his face, acting as a sleeping mask - and relaxing after a hard dayâs work. usually his roommates were off doing their own thing, but not sangjun. he enjoyed staying inside, isolated from the rest of the world with the exception of his best friends if they ever asked to come and hang out; however, when he heard the loud jingle of his ringtone in his ears just as his eyes were closing, he jumped up in his bed, heart nearly falling out of his chest. he picked up the phone without even checking the ID name since his mind was completely in a trance. his voice was raspy as he said, âhello?â, into the microphone, only to be cut off by a familiar, high-pitched voice that spouted instructions at him in a single breath. it was mirai.Â
he was instantly woken up by her and was about to protest to her spontaneous ideas, but he knew that once she had made her mind, there was no way around it. besides, she had already hung up on him anyways.Â
sangjun groaned as he got up and out of his bed to put on anything decent that he could find on the floor, quickly running out of the door with his shoes half on just so she wouldnât get mad at him. he saw her backside facing him right outside of the dorm building, picking up his feet to meet her. âwhy couldnât you have warned me earlier? and of all people, you choose me to hang out with?â he complained to her, still in the process of zipping up his jacket.Â
