I guess this blog will just be me posting whatever is going through my mind at the time. Which is random to be honest. I mean I have way to many hobbies and fandoms I’m part of but at least it fills the void of my existence (just kidding).
English isn’t my first language but I study it in college, and I suppose I’m pretty good at it at this point. But I remember when I was in high school and I still had some struggles with the language.
I trained by reading and playing video games. I remember getting stuck in Ace attorney Miles Edgeworth because I couldn’t remember what mud meant. And instead of looking It up I just struggled for an hour before looking up the solution online.
I think the word mud is now engraved in my soul, it annoyed me so much when I remembered what it was.
I had a similar struggle with the word spade in one of my assignements last year. Never seen this word before, now I won’t ever forget it.
I’m in a kingdom hearts obsession phase lately.
I watched the intro on YouTube and I fell right back in my obsession for these games.
I first played it when I was in middle school, I had no idea how to play a RPG. So I mostly just hit my way through the game before getting stuck because my level was to low and I didn’t use any ability or item. My dad had to explain the menues to me after I was almost at the end.
When I first saw the mix of Disney and final fantasy (for a kid who had no idea what final fantasy was), I was like super confused about how this games could be any good or even engaging in their characters and story.
And then I played KH1, to say it was life changing is the least I can say. The music, the characters and the gameplay I loved everything. And every game of this series I played is so good.
The beginning of KH2 is so incredible, Roxas and his raw emotions and story was amazing and so unexpected for a beginning.
Of course like everyone I love Riku, talk about a drama queen. I love a character overcoming their flaws but still staying true to themselves.
I never played some games and only watched the movies: recoded, 358/2, chain of memories…But I plan to play most of them, except chain of memories I never liked card games so when I saw the whole gameplay relied on this I wasn’t thrilled. Especially since I liked playing kingdom hearts for its nervous and dynamic combats.
No matter the game I always love to dive in the adventure.
What is your favorite Kingdom hearts game and character ?
Aro/ace phobia is really insidious.
I never had anyone say that I was a disgrace or disgusting for my orientation. But i had sometimes no answer when I said it or worse I was told it would change when I grow up. Breaking news I came out at 12 and now I’m 19 I’m still aroace.
It’s crazy how people don’t believe in kids capacity to find out who they are. And what if they change their minds later ? Isn’t it better to acccept what they say now even if it might change ? Make them feel safe and seen ?
My cousin even made a bet with me when i was 14, saying I would date someone before I’m 20. Spoiler alert: he is gonna lose that bet.
An aro/ace feelings on gender:
I just saw a post about gender apathy in the aro/ace community. And it makes so much sense when I think about it.
Ep 7 hazbin hotel:
Loved it of course. What a good way to set up the final.
Lucifer is so silly I love him. The guy is trapped and the second he sees Alastor he forgets about the whole situation just to annoy him.
Alastor is a professional rage baiter, Vox is so easy to manipulate for him. Just one word and Vox keeps looking for his validation. I mean come on Vox, you really put yourself in a bad position pushing the other Vees away for your toxic gay situationship with Al.
His song Brighter was amazing, this dude is such a jealous prick. He really killed only to gain more and more power because it was never enough.
I love the detail of the little accessory on his suit changing as he climbs the ladder.
The hotel team not doubting angel is in danger is so good. It would have sucked to have le cliché moment : « He betrayed us », « was everything a lie » because of course it wasn’t. Poor Angel and Husk can’t catch a break.
Heaven crisis to the attack of vox was so good especially with Sera. I really like her character development. Her and Sir. Pentious' song was so cute, I never expected them to be kind of friends. Sera being crushed under the fear and responsibilities while Pentious, being the cutie he is, calms her anxiety, which was everything.
Lute was clearly so happy to ‘have a reason to attack Hell, because her mental state is clearly « stable » lately. Her’s and Able are a duo I am interested to see more of honestly. Because Abel is just a total sweetheart. Their reprise of Gravity was so powerful and cool.
The final song was really amazing, I don't know if it's on purpose but as the song goes on it feels like you climb up. You start at the hotel where the characters are at the bottom stairs, then vow and the Vees in the tower, then Abel and Sera in heaven and finally Sera in her chapel (I think it's that).
The hotel part is really funny and cute especially with Vaggie and Charlie. The reprise once I get up there by vox and Alastor was so ironic and funny.
I never expected Val to pull a Stolas moment but I loved it. Then Velvette comes in and makes it even better.
Lute and Abel was a really cool and powerful moment of the song, I hope she will be the next antagonist.
And the final part of Sera was really moving and showed her personal struggles, hoping for guidance where there is not.
It was an amazing episode.
EP 6 Hazbin hotel (spoiler)
Wow wow wow. Amazing as always (I know I always have positive reviews, but honestly this season is fire).
Okay, let’s start with Chaggie.
I love these girls. They are amazing; this fight and the fact that it’s Charlie who takes responsibility for everything and apologises clearly were perfect. If she had kept going down the hill and denied it, it would have been annoying or bad because Vaggie would have to be the one to solve it. They are so cute; their song was cute and sexy. Like, what do you mean they dance so well together? And I loved how Vaggie just calmed her down with « Shut up, I want you now. » And I also love that Vaggie reassures Charlie, who has been in a mental breakdown since the start of the season, but also makes herself clear on the fact that she needs to be heard.
The Vees were perfect as usual; Vox is still a prick, and Val and Velvette clearly understand he is trying to impress Alastor any way he can, even if it means putting them on the side. Val yelling, « I’m from fucking Florida, » made me laugh so hard. I’m kind of worried about what they are going to use Angel and Lucifer for. I have the theory that Lucifer will be used to open a portal to heaven, but I ain't sure.
Huskerdust fans have been fed in this episode. Husk's song about his unhealthy relationship with alcohol and gambling was really good; seeing him fall back into his bad habits is hard. Luckily Angel arrives. And in drag!!!!!! He is so beautiful, and his song was beautiful and clearly inspired by Jessica Rabbit. I loved how Husk was unable to look away from Angel (lovestruck).
Their talk is so soft and true; it’s really honest, and I love that about them.
My poor Angel can’t have a break; being manipulated by Vox like this is another level of sick. But hey, what did we expect from a cult leader? Vox would use anyone to gain power; let’s not forget he is an overlord, and he wants to become the new god.
Carmilla is really consistent in her protective manner and makes me curious of her backstory. She clearly lost her partner, but how and when? Maybe in an extermination
I’m so excited to see the end of the season but also sad it’s ending so soon. But I’ll happily wait.
Episode 5 Hazbin Hotel: (spoiler)
I was kind of scared the fact that the episode would be in the same location for a long time would make it less interesting, but oh boy was I wrong.
Charlie was still hyperfixating on Vox and Heaven, which is logical based on her character, and people should calm down with her. She acts bad? Yeah, it’s logical in her character, plus you can’t babyfy Alastor or Vox on one side and spit on Charlie on the other. You can not like her (its obvious you can't like every character), but saying she is badly written isn’t fair.
Her crashing out on Lucifer is valid; let’s not forget the guy is staying at the hotel, yes, but he isn’t doing anything. He wasn't even aware Charlie was in trouble with Vox. And the one time he does, he involuntarily makes the situation worse, giving Hell a show on how the Morningstar are « dictators ».
Vaggie and Lucifer were a really funny duo. Why can’t this man talk normally lol? I loved the explanation of why he can’t hurt sinners; it makes so much sense. I mean, what is more frustrating than to live with an eternal reminder of your mistakes and not be able to hurt it even when they fuck up? Plus, they clearly needed to explain why he didn’t do anything before regarding hell; why would he care for a kingdom over which he has no power? And he is too powerful; they needed to give a reason why he can’t just solve everything.
Alastor completely manipulates Vox with so much ease. This man is a gay disaster waiting to happen. Vox is so dependent on Alastor's validation. For me it’s clear the Vees are going to split at some point, with Vox going solo and failing spectacularly. And god was he hilarious, being just an old racist prick; even Val was embarrassed by him.
The songs were incredible; Vox Populi with Luci's part was really cool, and the Vox part really showed how manipulation of the population through media is easy. The last song was just really showing how much of a menace Vox actually is; talk about a drama king (the guy had his giant shark float next to him).
The angels really were naive and not mentally prepared for the reality of hell. Especially Emily, who finally realised the whole reality of the exterminations. Because it’s easy to believe baskets will resolve the issues until you are in front of the victims of a GENOCIDE (is it ironic to think heaven isn’t any better than real countries? Yes).
But yeah, Sera crashing out was clearly the wrong way to react; I mean, you literally said they deserved to get killed.
And the end of the episode was good; Vaggie was totally right to call out Charlie, and she needed this. Because even if they are a couple, she isn’t listening. I liked that Vaggie puts her foot down on what is happening, that Charlie needs to stop with Vox propaganda and focus on the hotel and try to solve the problems.
I’m a fan of Hazbin hotel since the pilot aired on YouTube. As an aroace of course when I learned Alastor was like me I was thrilled. I mean we can count on our hands the number of offial characters being aroace. One of my main hopes is that they actually tell it in the show.
I mean yeah Rosie made a joke about him being an ace in a hole but not everyone can understand the joke. Nor does everyone wants and will search about the meaning of it.
What I hope for season 2 for Alastor is him or someone clearly telling that he doesn’t feel romantic and sexual attraction toward anyone (if it’s a dialogue with Vox it would be even better, I live for one sided radiotastic).
And don’t even get me started on the argument that "asexual people can have sex and enjoy it." Yes, thanks for that insight, but it’s not the point here. Alastor, as a character, has most likely a sex-repulsed identity (which I would be happy with because I am too). We already have so little representation; we don’t need an army of horny drawings everywhere all the time.
If you want to ship him, that’s fine—I can’t stop you from doing it. But why is 90% of the art featuring Alastor ships like Radio Apple and never about his asexuality? It kinda feels like our identity is a joke at this point.
In the notes someone said Alastor thinks he's straight. Was that ever explicitly said? I just finished season 1 and have watched it over a few times while introducing other ppl to the show and I don't remember that ever being said.
Obviously that doesn't automatically mean he knows he's ace. They have a point there but that also doesn't mean he thinks he's straight. Not trying to cause an argument, I'm just wondering if I missed something
It was never mentioned actually you are right. It was never implied or said he think he might be straight.
For me Alastor doesn’t think he is straight especially since he lived in hell for so long and never looked disturbed or discriminatory against queer people. For me he just doesn’t know what he is and don’t really care. But of course it’s up to interpretations ☺️
Before anyone goes and twists her words, pay attention to what she said.
"Anyone".
Anyone =/= everyone
There's a subtle difference.
What Charlie means is that redemption can come from ANYONE. It's a matter of choice, hard work and self reflection.
But it doesn't mean that EVERYONE can do it, or is willing to put in the work.
It's basically the same kind of logic Auguste Gusteau followed with his statement "Everyone can cook", which was later fully understood by Anton Ego.
Ep 3 and 4 of Hazbin Hotel:
Omg !!!!!!!! It was amazing !
OMG Hazbin Hotel season 2 is out !!!!!
I’m so happy and excited to see the rest of the season! The first episodes we got were amazing. I loved every song (though "Like You" is my least favorite, it’s still a good song). The Vee’s performances are incredible, especially when they sing. Velvet has a beautiful voice, and I loved “Respectless” so much in the first season. I was really happy to hear more from her. Vox clearly knows how to craft amazing songs, and he got two in the first episode, which is so cool. Valentino is still an asshole, but a funny one.
Sera's song was beautiful; it was a slap when I heard it. I didn’t really like her in the first season, but I'm starting to change my mind with episode 2.
Pentious's backstory was honestly so unexpected, and I find it so cool that we finally get to mention the characters' lives from when they were alive (first with Vox and then Pentious). It’s a huge part of who they were, and before this, it never really got mentioned in the show. Not everyone followed Vivzy back in the day to keep up with the characters' backstories. Plus, Pentious was so cute as a human—my heart is melting.
Emily is still as bubbly as ever, and I love her for that. She clearly stands up for herself and supports Charlie’s project.
I don’t know what to think of Abel yet. I don’t think he’s a bad guy, but he clearly isn’t very brave. It’s hard to say whether I like or don’t like him since he doesn’t talk much yet.
Lute is completely losing it, and I love it! It gives her character unexpected depth. She has a hard time staying focused, calm, or rational, especially with those visions messing up her perception of the world.
Charlie is so stressed and overwhelmed, and I don’t think it’s going to get any better soon with all the Vee issues. Alastor is clearly being petty in the first episode, which is kind of funny. The guy can take down dozens of people without a problem, but he’s acting like a three-year-old.
Husk and Angel are so cute; I love the character development here. Vaggie trying to find a new name is adorable too. I mean, yeah, Adam named her, and we all know where he got the inspiration.
I can’t wait to see more and hear the other songs. I am addicted to musicals, so this show is like a drug to me!
Am I the only one thinking Amazon prime is handling the promotion of Hazbin hotel season 2 pretty badly ? I feel like we saw too much. And I say that as I try to avoid the leaks and music release. I mean the 2nd trailer showed to much if you ask me and then we got a whole minute of episode one and then 2 songs (trust us and gravity).
I mean I personally prefer not seing so much and be surprised by the season and show. And it’s hard to avoid all this because if you are a fan every social media is a huge add and leak minefield. Plus let’s not lie even when you don’t wanna see leaks a part of you still wanna see them.
So yeah I feel like they mess up a bit. Why would you release a whole minute of ep 1 ! Before the release !
Per example Glitch studio never showed as much. Their trailers always felt well balanced for me especially knights of Guinevere.
Helluva boss
I love helluva boss like a lot of people I think. And I agree with people sometimes the pacing or the writing can be sloppy but it’s like any show. Yes it cant be perfect but it’s also what shows it’s made by humans (especially in an era where IA threatens artist and any artistic field). Any piece of media can be and will be flawed.
I’m a fan of Hazbin hotel since the pilot aired on YouTube. As an aroace of course when I learned Alastor was like me I was thrilled. I mean we can count on our hands the number of offial characters being aroace. One of my main hopes is that they actually tell it in the show.

Osomatsu san Ep 12 season 4
I loved this new episode. For me it really shows what the core of Osomatsu character is. He is afraid of change, he needs things to inherently stay the same forever or else he loses it. Chibita knows that, he knows how Osomatsu will react: that he won’t be supportive of his choice and that he will try anything to stop him from leaving and stopping.
Everyone thought Chibita didn’t want to quit his stand, and at first it feels weird because his stand has always been everything to him. But honestly? It makes perfect sense. The stand is constant restriction, financial struggle, health struggles. And for once he chooses himself. He decides to let it go and do something new. I LOVE THAT FOR HIM.
I also love how we got the confirmation that Osomatsu Tanabata wish was in fact blank and him choosing to wish for world peace shows that he in fact wish for things to not change and for Chibita to stay. But he accepts his decision and apologize.
I love seing all the brothers just not taking Osomatsu’s shit and just try to beat him up (like yeah you keep pulling this shitty attitude every time).
The end of the episode: it’s adorable to see ichi and kara bond over making the motorcycle. And seeing everyone having a good time is so cute.
Osomatsu san ep11 season 4
So I liked the episode.
I knew I would have a slight problem with it with the poop jokes and all (It never made me laugh). But besides this it was really good.
The cute moments of sharing the sensations, the hilarious faces when they feel the stress of others (I genuinely couldn’t stop laughing every time one of them had that face).
It was hilarious how everyone was getting more stressed and therefore made the situation worse and worse.
Also I love my little Ichimatsu feeling guilty for getting Kara sick even though it wasn’t him. I love my overthinkers, my little Choro and Ichi have a lot in common even if they don’t see it sometimes.
In the second half I love the idea of body swap while being sextuplets, because yeah even though you have the same faces dont mean you look the same in every way. It was really confusing to understand who was who. Even with the hoodies I found it hard to associate the color to the wrong face. Honestly once they realize that everyone thinks it’s not that bad since they have the same face and all.
The truly terrifying part is when they start to see that they might not even be who they thought they were. Really scary and disturbing thought.
I liked the ending doing a loop to beginning.
Overall really good episode.
