I really didn't want to have to do something like this.

due to reasons that involve the australian under 16 social media ban, I've been locked out of @slampersander with, as far as I'm aware, zero way of getting it back for exactly three hundred & fifty-two days at the time of writing this, almost a full year. luckily, i’ve managed to make a new account where i can use tumblr freely, which is a relief.

I doubt any of my followers are going to see this. It’s not like I was popular or anything, but there were people out there who liked my work & now I can’t share any of my upcoming animations with my original fanbase anymore, can’t even tell them that I’m gone. 

on the off chance someone who actually knew me on my old account sees this, I'll gladly provide some sort of proof I'm @slampersander, though I don't know why anyone would lie about this sort of thing.

The problem with "treat yourself like you would treat a friend :)" is that I can't treat myself like I treat someone that I'm not personally responsible of. I don't have to make anyone else get out of bed. I don't have to make anyone else do their work. I don't have to make anyone else maintain a social life. I don't have to make anyone else do their hobbies and chores. I'm not in charge of anyone else's life, of course I don't have to hold them to the same standards. And I can't verbally express how fast my entire shit would asplode if I treated myself like I treat people who are not my personal responsibility.

How do I explain to you people that interracial relationships are okay

Not every white person dating a POC is fetishizing. White people can be respectful and responsible when it comes to culture and relationships and not everyone has bad intentions.

Asian people can date Black people without you saying shit like “your kids will be so pretty” they’re not dating for pretty kids. They’re dating bc they like each other.

Someone can dress their partner in clothing from their culture if they want. Someone can take their partner to cultural events if they want.

People in relationships can share cultures, experiences and love without it being toxic or skin deep.

Their partner isn’t culturally appropriating. Their partner is being shown the ultimate form of love, bc their partner trusts them and loves them enough to share their history and heritage.

Yeah, dating someone from your culture is nice bc you automatically have similar experiences. But you’re not limited to dating people with the same experiences. Loving someone is sharing and growing and being together.

Interracial relationships aren’t always toxic, and some of y’all need to stop projecting onto other people.

gameoverse seems fun enough. but the cynical feminist in me can't help herself. all the male characters are like, cartoon blobs, which is contrasted strongly by the two major female characters in this pilot, both of whom are hour-glass shaped humanoid women who spend most of their screentime in swimsuits. and like that's not an outright dealbreaker but i *am* staring into the camera with my eyebrows raised.

yk guys I think a lot of ppl when arguing against the death penalty go for a like "people don't deserve death, etc" view and I get why ppl argue for that I rly do! but it doesn't matter. I don't trust the government to do it, I don't trust them to decide who should die, I don't trust them to determine who is mentally competent, I don't trust them to not be bigoted and discriminatory in their practices, I don't trust them to have the right people, I don't trust them to execute it in a humanitarian way. and I've had discussions with ppl who otherwise have similar viewpoints to me in many ways but can think of people they think deserve to die, and I think if abolishing the death penalty is like, a super important cause to u the same way it is to me, the argument u use shouldn't be "well these people deserve to live" (although in some cases I think yeah the death penalty is done to people who totally don't "deserve it") because that's so subjective, it should be "do you trust the government to do it?" like, do you trust the people who cant even fill potholes on your road to determine who should and should not live
