I actually hate Coruscant Guard fics. No hate on people who like them or even write them, I just don't enjoy the characterisation if you get what I mean?
Don't get me wrong, I love the Coruscant Guard but the entire 'GAR clones hate Corrie clones' just makes no sense to me. I mean, why would the GAR just suddenly turn on their brothers because they happen to get assigned to Coruscant? There are definitely differences between them, but outright hatred? Clones only really can trust/rely on themselves, so why ostracise specific ones? It's just so... out of character. At least in my mind.
Especially when they make the GAR clones both absolute dumbasses and dicks to make the Guard look better. Like hello???
And the same goes for the Guards, actually. Them disliking the GAR for whatever reason, usually because they don't attempt to contact or just don't understand them (while not trying to remedy that themselves and contact their brothers or explain their situation/reasons for their differences). Long distance relationships of any kind require effort from both sides, you know. You can't just expect the other party to do all the work. And of course the GAR isn't going to know whatever way the Guard is treated because they just aren't told and they don't bother to tell them, evidently just preferring to be prissy and be the victims in this situation.
And AND (I keep editing this because new thoughts keep coming to my mind) how is the ordinary trooper even expected to contact whichever brother they have in the Guard? Because they for sure don't have their commlink codes or whatever, since A) they'd not have them pre-deployment and B) there's no way for them to tell them what it is. It's not like the clones can just rock over to whoever their CO is and ask to contact CT-who-cares and if they could there's no obligation for both their CO and the Guard's CO to agree anyway
Again, I love the Coruscant Guard but just heavily dislike the way some people portray them.
From what I remember, in all their interactions in TCW they get along just fine.

I'd love to hear other's thoughts and if it's genuinely just me who's not the biggest fan of this
Like I'm sure there's some good corrie fics but the ones I've read just don't appeal to me
Maybe I just happened to find the bad ones since I don't read them a lot but then again i don't know. (I also read some corrie guard fic that just incredibly pissed me off which inspired me to write this)
