you missed the part where he found a stray dog and took it home
I canât tell if I like this stern, sarcastic Aunt May better than regular olâ sweet as sugar pie Aunt May.
@fkrel
eye contact is not necessary for listening or paying attention
many autistic people find it easier to listen and process information when we dont do eye contact
forced eye contact for the sake of appearing neurotypical can be tiring and painful
we avoid it for a reason
respect that

People are angry, not only about the Yuen Long attack on 21st July, also the fact that on the same night in Sheung Wan, the police shot the protesters. The police used 55 cans of tear gas, five rounds of rubber bullets and 24 sponge grenades. So much teargas was used that the area was very foggy, then the cops started to shoot at the protesters, aiming at their head, and some stood on the footbridge and fire at the protesters below.
The government issued a statement on the same night, using most of the content to condemn the 'protesters' violence act' in Sheung Wan while just kind of mentioned the Yuen Long attack.
The Police commissioner later claimed that many officers were arranged on the Sheung Wan area to handle the protesters, so there were not enough manpower to handle the Yuen Long attack.
Sounds like they focus more on attacking unarmed protesters rather than doing their real job, protecting the citizen.
I was legitimately thrilled with the overall reception of my costume. I never couldâve imagined that it would make so many people so happy! But I exchanged so many hugs and daps and high fives, it was unreal. I had a lot of really great conversations with people that were just super excited to see some Native representation at the convention. So that part was really special for me, because that was a big part of my own personal inspiration to begin with.
I originally brainstormed this costume in late 2015, but I really started rolling on production this last year, once I committed to this years SDCC⌠My main goal was to make a Native American variant of a fan-favorite character. I was immediately drawn to Captain America because of everything he symbolizes as basically the poster boy of a nation. To me it was the perfect parallel. And once I visualized the red and white bone breastplate on my abdomen, I knew this was something I had to see through.
A lot of old school leather work with the awl! The majority of the armor was made from a base of 6mm EVA foam with 3 oz deer hide glued over it. The pieces were then stitched together with sinew or leather lace. Using this technique allowed me to form curves and build the necessary bulk of the armor pieces while also getting the suede textures I was looking for. And a whole lot of beading!
