Mod Advice: A lot of it comes from charisma and understanding other people’s boundaries. You can’t tell a confident person, “if you don’t talk to me I’m going to kill myself”, you have to be like “It’s a shame our conversations go nowhere, I thought you were better than this” - of course, even that doesn’t work on someone who’s demand avoidant. In general, it’s all about careful, personalized phrasing. As a rule of thumb, it’s better to be genuine in your intent and manipulative with your action. People can tell when you’re a fraud. You want to bargain and guide, not change people.

It's so hard to define whether or not I'm an extreme yan or a soft yan cause I do go through extreme lengths to keep the people I'm obbessed with but also I sometimes feel bad about hurting the people I'm obsessed with whether it is emotional or physical but I can be emotionally manipulative, someone help!!!

I hate how I have just became obsessed with my friend, we've been friends for years but sudenelly and randomly I just coulden't stop thinking about them, and this has been the case since last fucking year, but it just had to happen way to late for me to be able to do anything about it and now they have a boyfriend, and they always did a thing, where they would just not talk with me for a while, just like dissaper for a few weeks without saying anything, and I never liked it but I could live with it, but now? they have been gone for about 2 weeks and I am losing it, even when my feelings calm down, my mind is still fixated on them and I hate it, it just feels like I will end up ruining the relationship I have with them, but I don't feel like I can control myself and I don't know what to do.

To be honest this is kind of Mod’s rant blog but there are some plain stupid takes on yanblr. “Uhm dni if you’re a yandere and your darling is unaware ;^;” “erm dni if you support yandere x unaware darling irl ;-;” you sound stupid. No one wants to scare away their darling if their darling is unaware of their huge feelings. It’s heavy, mentally sick love. Some people aren’t into yan4yan, some people want to scare darlings and there are unaware darlings out there that do enjoy it. There can be a darling who is unaware that their yandere is a yandere but is a plain masochist. Do you people ever have fun? Most of the time it’s due to not wanting to be abandoned anyway. If you can burden your darling with your feelings that’s fine, but not every relationship forms the same way. Fly my hot take.

I'm getting dangerously close to genuinely murdering someone who abused my darling, and they are encouraging it, and I'm worried I'm going to do something without thinking about it first and getting taken away from my darling

Mod advice: don’t actually kill them, but kill the abuser socially & within the system if possible. Collect all evidence of their abuse as you can and tell their friends and family about it - it’s harder if your darling’s abuser is related to them, so focus on friends and anyone you can get in touch with. Don’t go to prison when you’re assumably young. The other option is to slowly start poisoning them - there are some good, slow acting but lethal ones that are tasteless and easy to spike food and drink with. Good luck yanon 🫡
