intro post!

hey! i'm making this account here i guess. i'm Skateboard, though there is one thing you all may have noticed from my PFP. i look different! well, it's because i somehow was fused with Scythe. so far, no one has figured out how to separate us, much less without major damage to both of us, so for now we live like this.

now that we're fused, we/i go by Scathe together. i feel like one person, but who that one person is shifts over time. sometimes i'm Scythe, other times i'm Skate. it's weird. but anyways! i'll probably sign off which i'm feeling more like at the time with the other in parenthesis, or color our text.

i can apparently summon both my gear and Scythe's gear, so i guess that means new tricks to learn!

i won't get in to Scythe's part for now, though i can still feel parts of me wanting to believe the true eye cult's stuff. i try to resist it as much as i can, though when i'm more Scythe it's hard.

when i started with this idea, it was initially as a fun lil ask in dear @\dumbass-duo's inbox but then i realized this is a really funny idea to go along with. so then i made this. lol. also i can't tell if this is more alterhuman shifts like anymore or if it's become pluralcoded lmao (median or otherwise i dont remember)

How do yall split your time between Scythe and Skate's life?

To Skate: Have you ever had to witness Scythe's-- uh-- more unpleasant side of the job?

To Scythe: What happens if there's an overlap between Skate's stuff n' your job?

It really just depends whenever we end up shifted as each of us. But, we usually don’t do anything with my previous folks anymore since it compromises our safety.

Have only had overlap once before completely leaving the True Eye, and in that case I just called Skate’s friends and told them we wouldn’t be able to make it.

I can feel myself shifting to Skate, perfect timing for him to answer the question.

hey! ok so the question… yeah, i have. it’s… sad, having to kill random people who probably did nothing but piss off the True Eye. sometimes Scythe shifted to me in the middle of the job, and since i’m not the one that’s done random kills with her gear before, i’m usually kinda sloppy with it? i sometimes just decided to summon my gear as well since my epic speed makes me harder to hit!

only happened like, a few times before we ghosted the True Eye cus it was gonna be unsafe if we couldn’t keep up the act of not knowing about the manipulation. but i can remember the things Scythe did even before this fusion, and damn, she’s been doing the job for a long time.

considering both of your pasts, where do you guys tend to hang out more? Lost temple? Playground? I will just guess that you both still try to hang out with your respective friends

We... don't hang around my folks anymore. It got too dangerous for the both of us. And I doubt the Redcliff Wranglers are gonna take us in anytime soon. So, no more Lost Temple. We tend to hang around Skateboard's folks, though it's a bit awkward when Skate's in the middle of talking to them and then suddenly I'm there. Usually results in us losing our train of thought, though I still remember what he was saying. Sometimes he got opinions I disagree with. It ain't the best, but at least we're safe by staying away from Lost Temple.

What is it like being fused together?

it's really weird honestly. i have two different memory timelines, some memories of phights both Scythe and i were in and generally other memories that happened at the same time, and sometimes i'm me, sometimes i'm Scythe. it's confusing.

Sorry we’ve been gone, y’all. Shit’s happened, but we’re overall alright. Though, ‘Kit tried to separate us several times an’ the most recent attempt made him vanish entirely. I ain’t sure what happened. We tried lookin’ for him in case he teleported, no luck. Hell, we were able to get to Lost Temple and grab my vulture to head out an’ look, and nothin’ turned up. Skateboard was strugglin’ somewhat with the girl, but I ended up takin’ over at some point an’ we finally rode out.

.. I miss the family. But I know I can’t go back. Not now that I got a whole other ‘phernal fused with me who I gotta help. An’ even if we unfuse, I dunno if I could stand goin’ back wit’ the current knowledge an’ memories from Skateboard’s life.

I hope that ‘Kit’s alright, wherever he is.

(OOC) I mean gears are like some sort of magic stuff aren't they? the blades are energy based so they can be retractable, the base could be like a sort of staff?? so it would retract into itself or something?? the ammo part is removable tho so it could work. idk about the handle tho, cuz we could just make it be removable but that would kinda ruin the vibe
