Here is the finished t-shirt quilt that has been an on-going project for the last few months. Erin has it on her bed now and is super happy with the results. * Erin used to do the Irish dancing and I had been to several of her feis events and was just amazed at what those kids could do with their bodies! These are the tshirts that had been purchased over the year. * Super proud that Erin has been accepted into NC State in the College of Engineering. Super smart girl with a bright future ahead of her. We spent the afternoon making face masks for a long term care facility. My friend Ashley @ashleysrn is an RN in Lexington and with her home office approval she and I made the Olson Mask. We used the N95 standard as our guide. Made it to Friday afternoon ... while it is a bit different than last Friday when we were driving home from a canceled event ... it is still Friday! * Working on a tshirt quilt for our god daughter Erin who is graduating from high school this year. I am tying it off as opposed to hand or machine quilting it. Half way through the ties and then will bind the edges. This will fit a queen size bed but it feels like a California king working on it! * Lots of love goes into quilts and this one is no exception! Thank you! Two simple words that don't seem like enough to express how much we appreciate your support! We had a sweet young lady drive down from Charlotte yesterday to shop in person since neither of us would be at Gul Wars. Big hugs to her for spending a couple of hours shopping and buying. * Alteration and custom sewing shop is open! Weird weather Wednesday brings random thoughts I just feel the need to share ... I'm old and confused most of the time and things like this one minute video - I think just adds to the chaos (of my mind maybe)? There are not enough hours in the day for what needs to be done and then social media "influencers" throw out random "challenges" for folks to stop their lives and heed to the challenge. The Gary Vaynerchuck's of this world telling entrepreneurs to post 65 to 100 pieces of content a day? I don't get it? I've already admitted I'm old but is that all there is? Do these type of things bring substance and depths of understanding among us? Will it really grow my business or just annoy everyone? * I've got four prom dresses to alter, two prom tops to make, a chaise lounge that needs the cushions recovered and a hope chest bench that needs my attention to recover it as well .... we leave Tuesday for a 13 day long event and all the preparing and loading that goes along with that chaos ... sorry!
