i hate how people dont seem to understand that HUMANS ARE ANIMALS. its simple as. we have ALWAYS been animals, we are mammals. we have animalistic instincts, animal behavior, we are not exempt for nature's imprint.

ive left examples.

growling/snarling is our groans, grimaces, and huffs

nests/dens are the comfort of your beds and homes.

territorial behaviors, from wars to being angry that a stranger took your "spot" on the bus.

like other mammals, when our young are old enough they will want to go off and start a life of their own.

picking at your hair, nails, etc is a self grooming behavior.

when you see a squirrel or a sound startles you, and you snap your head to look.

if our chosen food isnt available, we'll pick the next best option.

herd mentality. in a similar vein, screaming when startled to alert your group.

showing off/presenting yourself better to attract a mate.

our inability to ignore a babys cry and other animals that are able to imitate that sound (cats, puppies sometimes)

zoomies. mimicking. a fear of the unknown. familiarity with what is and isnt "yours".

sometimes i feel like im faking my alterhumanity because i have so many kins, and im worried if i explode more media and characters i might kin even more characters/creatures. i feel like the more my identity grows the more "faker" i seem to people. my identity is a pit, ill never have enough labels or anything to fill it and it makes me feel fake.
