Just came here to say to be wary when donating to people in Gaza.

I’d forgotten how evil people can be and make scams by pretending to be someone from there. I’ll be deleting the donations that I cannot build a foundation in order to confirm that it’s accurate, so as of now do NOT click on any of the ones I’ve posted until I confirm that everything’s been checked. I’d hate for someone’s money or even information to get into the wrong hands because of me.

I LOVE that the Netflix adaptation of Heartstopper is being used to further explore topics that the comics hinted at. One such example is Darcy’s home life and all of the kids’ families in general.

A crucial part of queer teen relationships is knowing how to navigate and work around each other’s parents, who has the safest house for hanging out, how closeted to act around different people’s moms or dads, etc… Queer teens often have to work together to keep each other safe, and I’m glad that’s being portrayed in the show.

A woman named Eman Zaqout came into my inbox (or asks idk what it’s called) and asked for help. To keep it short, she is a wife and a mother in Gaza who is trying to evacuate her family (husband and 2 kids). She also wants to continue to pursue her PhD study and was, recently, awarded to study that in Malaysia, but she is unable to leave Gaza.

So the "food" that the US dropped to Gaza is MREs. Expired. Saw a stitch of this video from a woman saying this is the same thing they did with Hurricane Katrina survivors.

MREs are shelf stable for 7 years. Total. These ones were over 15 years old.

And ofc there were people in the comments being like "ummm well our military eats them just fine, they were expired when I was in the army too" THATS NOT OKAY THO?? NO ONE SHOULD BE FORCED TO EAT EXPIRED FOOD!

Fuck the US, fuck the Israeli government, and fuck you if you think that this is any kind of help to the people of Gaza. They're starving to death and the US is sending expired applesauce while also giving bombs to their murderers.
