“What does this do?~”

The slime girl teased pulling at one of the wires.

“No wait-!”

The robot girl panics, feeling the slime girl inside her pull at her speech module but it’s too late. A jolt rushes through her as the cord is disconnected and all the girl can do feel the dread of moving her hinged jaw silently.

“That’s better, good girls stay silent while I’m playing with them.~”

Her ooze is squeezed so tightly into her chassis, she can feel all of her circuits being pressed into. The weight feels heavy but after so many maintenance cycles with her, the slime girl’s embrace almost feels… intimate.

A jerk from one of her arms, and a silent gasp to follow from the robot girl gives a giggle from the ooze.

“There’s the motor control, you are just so easy to pick apart, you efficient little thing.~”

Through the fear, her faceplate blushes, and she becomes even more terrified, wondering whether it was her or her mechanic that had done it. She can feel the slime start to wrap around her cpu core, and her fans kick up another notch as the already flustered girl’s thoughts race between fear and fantasy.

“Hmm, i think we might have to go do a field test on these parts. You don’t mind a quick walk to the bar right? i’ll need other baseline robot girls to compare to…~”

The machine girl simply opened a soundless jaw hinge, and almost blue screened at the thought.

“Good little program, let’s go.~”

Do not quit alcohol cold turkey

Do not suddenly stop drinking alcohol as a new years resolution if you have been consistently using alcohol most days

Your body gets used to the presence of the alcohol as a sedative in your system

Suddenly removing the sedative you are chemically accustomed to is like suddenly removing the wall you are leaning on - you will topple over

You brain electricity gets overexcited

This causes seizures

This causes sudden onset dementia (Wernicke's encephalopathy)

This causes brain damage

If you use alcohol often (even in moderate amounts)

Or in large amounts

Or you have ever noticed you get shakey tremors and anxious when you stop drinking

Then your body is chemically dependant and you need to be very careful coming off alcohol otherwise you will cause brain damage

Slowly wean down the amount you drink over days or weeks

Talk to a doctor about your goals to quit and ask about support options

Medically supported withdrawal is a lot safer

If alcohol withdrawal goes badly there is a 15% chance it will kill you.

Do not go this alone

You deserve to be safe

As a trans woman, this is the biggest way "allies" make me feel unsafe. The second someone finds out I'm trans, because they preform their being an ally in a way that made me feel safe enough to tell them. They switch to gender neutral pronouns and refer to groups with me in it as guys. Makes me wonder what else I can't trust them with

I've been thinking similar things a lot recently, and there's a lot of complexity here, but I think the simplest way I can describe things is this:

I never saw a transgender woman in media, or in person.

I did see Trannies, though.

I never saw a transgender woman that was "actually" a woman in movies or TV. I never saw one that was ever considered a woman, ever respected as a woman, ever acted like a woman, ever looked like a woman, or existed as a woman without that being the crux of a joke. I never really even heard the term "transgender woman". Maybe transsexual if you were lucky.

So I never knew that transgender women existed. I knew that trannies existed, though. And I wasn't a tranny. I just wanted to be a girl. But I was a boy, and that's how it was.

Those depictions weren't representation. I feel like people still call that representation, but have this attitude of "well it was bad or problematic representation" which to me is kinda like.... no it wasn't? They weren't even attempting to depict transgender women, because they couldn't tell the difference between a trans woman, a sex pest, a crossdresser, a drag queen, and a serial killer. So the thing being represented isn't a trans woman, its a trope. Any sympathetic depiction of a trans woman are tiny drops of progress that honestly, still don't feel like representation- they feel like arguments against the tranny of the past.
