The second I saw that white fluff, I HAD to get blood on it. The desire to see blood in that fur possessed me and did not let me pass by this little guy as a whumpee :) Enjoy :))

(I suddenly found myself able to draw an upward head angle and immediately took advantage of that! :D It took a fraction of the time that that other scream sketch, which is a major step forward for me :))) )

Ep9 (and tbh, many other parts of this anime) are also incredibly Whumpy, but this scene is the one most will remember. The WINDOW SMASHING scene! It’s the turning point of the show, when Yato COLLAPSES, revealing how much PAIN he suffers due to Yukine’s misguided bad behavior 👀 We see Hiyori, freaking out, rolling him over and realizing how bad it is, calling his name and getting hurt herself by the blight spreading over him. We see the GUILT and FEAR in Yukine’s face as he’s confronted with the consequences of his actions, as they wreak havoc on the man who took him in and gave him a second chance. This scene is iconic! I just watched the first season of the case study of vanitas (because of you) and by god that’s an absolute perfect whumpy anime. Especially that scene where the guy with the red hair said noe failed the test and noe suddenly collapsed, but red haired guy like still held him up with his hand over his mouth? That’s good shit. Might I request that we get that scene as gifs too? Love your work of the continuation of this scene where all is tinted red, so being able to see the rest of the scene over and over again too would make me overjoyed.

Of course no pressure in doing this, also the rest of your work is also incredible, I love all of it, it gives me the whumpy feelings. (And makes me want to watch the rest of the animes too)

Have you watched Brave 10? There's quite a bit of (quick) whump with the main character Saizo, and another character gets poisoned.
