Exactly. Heck, murder isn’t in the Constitution. The only federal crimes listed in the Constitution that the federal government actually has power over are treason, counterfeiting, and piracy (real piracy like attacking and plundering trade routes, not downloading things from the internet)

It was always the intention that states take care of regular day-to-day law enforcement, and the federal government would only step in if there was a conflict between states or between a state and another country. In fact, those were supposed to be the only cases the Supreme Court could even take up.

So this is just my opinion, but I think people aren't really upset about "women losing the right to their bodies" it's more so now they have to deal with the consequences of their actions. For so long we have had a culture of casual sex and hookups being promoted with no repercussions because if you get pregnant you can always kill the baby. I think it's less "I'm losing my rights" and "now I have to live a life where I can't just go hook up all the time because I might get pregnant/get someone pregnant and I just don't want to deal with that."

And I think some men are worried because they know the casual sex/hookup culture is probably going to be severely, severely, hindered now.  Dave Portnoy (Barstool Sports) had a mini-meltdown about it because as a wealthy 45-year-old man he might have to take some responsibility with the 19-year-old he’s “dating.”

I hope *fingers crossed* women, young women especially, won’t feel pressured to have sex just because he wants it, knowing there’s a chance of pregnancy.  Which will make it easier for more women to say “No thank you.”

Maybe it will kill the NiceGuyTM who thinks women are like vending machines, perform enough NiceGuyTM moves and receive sex.
