i used to be iffy about using correct sex pronouns and not preferred pronouns earlier in my gendercrit journey, and i also was iffy about calling a very obvious passing trans person their correct pronouns.
but now? i really don’t care.
because what’s the difference in terminology? female, woman, she/her. it’s all been used to mean the same thing. they’re separate yes, but they all mean the same thing.
to be okay with a TIM to call himself a woman and referring to him with she/her pronouns is no different from being okay with him calling himself a female, and having a ‘female state of mind’.
because while female and woman mean are different, they’re not separate from eachother entirely. woman is the humaized term for adult human female, and she/her are the english pronouns to refer to a woman or girl.
don’t you see? there is no difference, they mean all the same thing.
so yes, when i see the extremely passing transwoman who i never thought was trans, i will call him a man, use he/him pronouns and i won’t think twice about it.
to me, there’s an additional layer to gender abolition and gnc acceptance.
it’s about putting my foot down, and not letting medicalization of it skew the facts.
because to reject the truth of the matter;
that a man can take artificial estrogen, get cosmetic surgery to get his penis inverted to look like a vagina, get breast implants, and still be a man.
that a woman can take artificial testosterone and grow a beard and have cosmetic surgery to make her vagina appear as a neopenis, have a double mastectomy and still be a woman.
is giving into gender ideology and ignoring human biology.
i’m not going to change my mind because a trans person ‘passes’ because to give in to ‘passing culture’ is to be giving into gender conformity.
men don’t only have to look one way and neither do women.
because men and woman are not states of mind, or a personal dressing choice. they’re simply just biological realities of humans. nothing more nothing less than that.
