I do most of my compositions intuitively without any specific guidelines, so it's hard to give advice. I tend to imagine scenes in my head like a film or a storyboard rather than a comic, and then fit it into panels. If I'm stuck, I will often just look at the previous pages (if there are any) and split the current page into panels at random, with a different layout than the pages immediately before to avoid repetition. And then I try to fit the scene I have in them, with the parts that require more space or emphasis in the bigger panels and random details in the smaller ones.

I guess if you don't know where to start that could be a good exercise! To take a template or a random assortment of panels and see if you can insert your scene into them, then keep working on shuffle mode until you get the hang of it

I adooooore how you do expressions! Do you have a favorite Astarion piece at all to showcase an expression? You have to have drawn him the most, easily.

What gave it away? Haha, I don't know if I could pick a favorite. There's been a lot that I've loved working on. He's my favorite one to stretch expressions like play-dough on.
