I'm pretty sure one of the first things Kakashi did as the Hokage or before giving up the position to Naruto was destroying this document or changing the law about Shinobi having to be unmasked in their registration form, or.. or doing something so ridiculous like drawing a mask with a permanent marker on top of his lower face in that picture just to troll Naruto... He knows Naruto pretty darn well to miss something like that 😂😂

Those registration documents - do you reckon that they’d get updated regularly? Because if it’s just at registration and never again, or even just at dates of promotion, then the photo of kakashi in there is either twelve, or five. It’s not just an unmasked photo, it’s an embarrassing baby picture.

Kakashi got his last promotion age 11 and at that point he was wearing his headband in a way where he had hair sticking out in the middle

The picture that his students were trying to look at doesn't have that hair sticking out so it's at least 13+ Kakashi.

Chances are, it's updated pretty regularly to keep up with any new identifying marks, changes in physique and other things that might need to be made note of

meaning at some point someone had to take a picture of Hokage Kakashi for his new file additions and his students were probably tripping over themselves trying to see but he did it three days before they found out and they're livid about it

So Naruto practically found a photo album of his Sensei with pictures of him since he was 5 up until his retirement and all had a mask clumsily doodled on top of their lower faces 😂

No wonder he looks way older than his actual age in Boruto, that moment alone has lead Naruto to an instant premature aging 🤣

I SAW THIS IN THE PORTLAND ART MUSEUM! ITS HUGE!

it shimmers like no gemstones i've ever seen: green as malachite and emerald but shot through with opal, gold, copper. photographs can't do it justice because of how it shines, as well as the way the actual material elements have their own dimensions. you can lean in and study all the fine lines of the circuits or step back and admire how the rearranged whole forms new patterns. it's one of the most beautiful creations i've ever seen.
