You groaned softly as sunlight streamed in through a crack in the curtains. You rolled over and frowned when the spot next to you was cold and empty. You opened your eyes slightly but didnât have the energy to get up and go looking for Zemo. You shut your eyes against as you curled up against the silk sheets. You were vaguely aware of the bedroom door opening and being shut.
âLiebling,â Zemo said, âAre you awake.â
âMeh.â
A tray was put down on the bedside table and the mattress dipped as Zemo lay back down. You rested your head against his leg as he put a hand on top of your head.
âWhatâs wrong?â he asked
âDoes it matter?â
âOf course it does.â
âHmm.â
You pressed your head against Zemoâs stomach and exhaled deeply. Zemo rested a hand on top of your head and looked down at you in concern. He hadnât seen you like this before and it worried him.
âItâs just⌠everything seems so⌠I donât knowâŚâ
âHopeless.â
âYeah,â you rolled onto your back, your head on his lap, âThatâs the word.â
Zemo sighed as he continued to stroke your hair.
âWhat brought this on?â he asked
âJust, everything.â
âEverything?â
âWorkâs hell,â you muttered, âFriends are being jerks and keep cancelling plans. It seems like everything has come to a standstill. Iâm just stuck in place and not going anywhere. I donât want to do anything but I feel bad when Iâm unproductive. I feel burned out.â
Zemo remained silent for the entire time you spoke. When you finished he didnât reply straight away, deep in thought.
âYou do not have to work,â he said, âI am-â
âI know,â you interrupted, âBut I want to. I donât want to be entirely reliant on you.â
âAnd I respect that,â he pressed a kiss against the top of your head, âIâm glad. But do you know what you need?â
âWhat?â
âA holiday. Anywhere you want. Just tell me.â
âA holiday,â you let out a bark out laughter, âMy manager would never let me go on leave.â
âJust leave that to me.â
âWhat are you going to do? Threaten him?â
âNo need to worry about that.â
Zemo reached over and took a cup of tea from the tray. He took a sip and grimaced when he realised that it was cold. Your lip twitched at his reaction and he looked down at you with a raised eyebrow.
âSo,â he said, âwhere would you like to go? Hot or cold?â
âNo idea,â you reached up and grabbed a slice of toast off the plate, âFood first, then holiday.â
I'm so confused about what kind of "accountability" people want for Wanda. She's literally lost everything. She lost her brother, her friends, her love, her children. Those are worse consequences than just about anyone in the MCU has had. Valkyrie never faced consequences for her work selling slaves. Druig never faced consequences for mind-controlling an entire town. Tony and Bruce built a murder robot that infected the entire internet and almost destroyed the world, and they just got slapped with a contract. Clint went on a murder spree and the extent of his consequences lasted a week, and he still made it home for Christmas with a new daughter in tow. The only person who's even come close to facing consequences as severe as Wanda's would probably be Loki, what with being sentenced to life in prison and narrowly avoiding execution, but that didn't even last. What do people want from Wanda? She's already lost everything she had. What else does she have to give?

As a huge fan of hers (I canât speak for other Scarlet Witch fans) what she did was completely fucked up and absolutely horrifying. The lengths she was willing to go to for her own happiness is unsettling. But as someone who has also undergone trauma, grief, and anger in an unsavory amount, I can say that what she did was understandable. Not JUSTIFIABLE, but entirely UNDERSTANDABLE.
I donât feel comfortable making her a full on villain when there are other MCUs whom we paint as a hero whoâve done arguably worse.
I realize that there are people in this world whoâre incapable of sympathizing but to be so openly cruel about a fictional character makes me wonder how they treat real people.
Letâs talk about how supposedly, Sakura is the most powerful kunoichi right now, right? FALSE!
I believe that the most powerful kunoichi should go to Tenten.

I get it, Sakura became a sannin, but letâs all be honest, that shit was just plot armor. The only reason she didnât die half the time was because she was Naruto and sasukeâs friend. Thatâs the only reason she was allowed to survive.
But Tenten? She studied with a ninja prodigy. She trained day in and day out with a fucking tai jutsu finatic. Not only did she kept up with them but she may have also created her own jutsus.
Neji rarely relied on others, but when he did, we can say that Tenten and Lee were at the top of the list.
Did Tenten lose in the chunin exams? Yes. Was it to Gaaraâs sister? Tailed beast Gaara? Who had a sister? Also yes. The same Gaara whom Lee, with no chakra, almost beat. Put homeboy in critical condition.
Also, sometime between Narutoâs training in between the original series and shippuden, she became anbu.
I think after Neji died, because they were definitely canon and I will never forgive the author for this, she lost the will to fight because her best friend and lover and partner all around was gone and she couldnât imagine fighting alongside anyone else, not even Lee.
