My Vow to Me and Honesty: I vow to always treasure me: my flaws and imperfections. I vow not to lower my standards for anyone, and I vow not to compare myself to others or pay attention to those who do not matter. I am committed to being true to who I am and who I want to be. I live my life for me. My Promise: Every morning, you will wake up and take a deep breath. You will say, âthis breath is the past.â You will look in the mirror and say, âI love me,â and give yourself a hug. Before every class and clinical you will say, âIgnore them. You are here for you. You will do it. You will be assertive. You will." My Vow of Self-Love and Happiness: I vow to acknowledge that this will not be an easy journey but the right journey; I vow to fall in love with myself everyday and to not let someone else determine my happiness, self-love, and life; I vow to follow my heart, take my brain with me, and to not follow any other person's dreams and commitments other than my own. My Vow to My Intuition: I vow to be committed to listening to my intuition, believe that she is real and my best friend, and to learn to trust her guidance everyday of of my life because she always has the best interests in me. My Vow to Honor Myself: I vow to be committed to always honor myself, to remove the word "try" from my vocabulary, to always strive for any possibility that I want, and to stop believing that I need less than I deserve because I have a stronger and deeper honor and love for the beautiful woman I am being. Honoring ME Mantra: I deserve to have everything I need and want in a partner and in my relationship. When I am true to myself, it's possible to have it all (Arylo, Choosing Me before We, p 129). Christine. 23 and still learning how to survive in this school called life. I make mistakes and miss opportunities. I am learning how to learn from those mistakes. I am learning how to not dwell on the past. I am learning how to love myself. I am learning how to be someone I am proud of. I am not perfect. I have my ups and downs. I have flaws. I am imperfect. I am who I am. I accept me.
âInstead of saying âIâm damaged, Iâm broken, I have trust issuesâ say âIâm healing, Iâm rediscovering myself, Iâm starting over.ââ
âYou donât know why youâre exhausted? Youâre fighting a war inside your head every single day. If thatâs not exhausting, I donât know what is.â
âFind the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.â
Sad update everyone, Tama recently passed away⌠An estimated 3,000 people, including railway officials, attended Tama the catâs funeral on Sunday, days after she died of heart failure aged 16. [x]
For those who havenât read articles about it, the local shrine elevated her to a god. Sheâs now the Eternal Stationmaster and patron god of the station.
Nitama, already now a mature cat (born 2010), has a protege named Yontama (fourth Tama, b. 2016). There is no information available for either the physical befellment or tragic self-disgrace which has removed Santama from contention.
okay but actually what happened to santama (or sun-tama-tama, which is her name because itâs a pun on santama) was that she was basically sent to train for the position in okayama and they liked her so much they refused to send her back
âSun-tama-tamaâ (a pun off of âSantamaâ, lit. âthird Tamaâ) was a calico cat sent for training in Okayama. Sun-tama-tama was considered as a candidate for Tamaâs successor, but the Okayama Public Relations representative who had been caring for Sun-tama-tama refused to give the cat up writing, âI will not let go of this child, she will stay in Okayama.â [25]
As of September 2018, Sun-tama-tama is working as the stationmaster in Naka-ku, Okayama and appears occasionally on Tamaâs Twitter account.
The shrine of Tama DaimyĹjin (Great gracious deity Tama), next to the Kishi station where she worked.
Nitama presenting her yearly offerings to Tama DaimyĹjin on the anniversary of Tamaâs Death, June 23 (The offerings are presented by the company president, as Nitama is a cat and thus canât hold the offerings herself) (Not pictured, but also present, Yontama)
I donât know what kind of fucking genius suggested to Charlize Theron that she become more and more of an action star as she ages, or if she just reached a fuck it point of having enough star juice to realize her dreams in Hollywood, but whatever reason there is that I keep seeing her looking buff as shit and jaded as hell in monochrome tank tops is enough to give me hope that we are not in The Darkest Timeline. The Old Guard, Atomic blonde, Mad Max, this woman is 45 years old, wearing leather and doing her own stunts. Please give me another decade+ of her slowly getting more jacked until she, Lucy Lawless, Gina Carrera, and Linda Hamilton can give us some kind of super wild John Wick type of franchise that is 90% middle aged women doing hand to hand combat and 10% queer Romance.
âBreathe. Youâre going to be okay. Breathe and remember that youâve been in this place before. Youâve been this uncomfortable and anxious and scared, and youâve survived. Breathe and know that you can survive this too. These feelings canât break you. Theyâre painful and debilitating, but you can sit with them and eventually, they will pass. Maybe not immediately, but sometime soon, they are going to fade and when they do, youâll look back at this moment and laugh for having doubted your resilience. I know it feels unbearable right now, but keep breathing, again and again. This will pass. I promise it will pass.â
âPeople always fall in love with the most perfect aspects of each otherâs personalities. Who wouldnât? Anybody can love the most wonderful parts of another person. But thatâs not the clever trick. The really clever trick is this: Can you accept the flaws? Can you look at your partnerâs faults honestly and say, âI can work around that. I can make something out of it.â? Because the good stuff is always going to be there, and itâs always going to pretty and sparkly, but the crap underneath can ruin you.â

Please donât remind me to feel
Believe me, the danger is real
You donât know the things that I can do
Keep your distance âcause, I canât lose you
I canât lose you, try to see
Iâm trying to tell you that
I canât lose you, like before
As much as I wish I canât open that door
If you loved yourself the way I do
Then youâd see why I canât lose you

I got the chance to see the national tour of Frozen Broadway this weekend and this is pretty much how âI Canât Lose Youâ ends- with Elsa just as desperate to embrace Anna as Anna is to hold Elsa- and in the final notes they step into one another as Anna wraps her arms around her sister, finally. It absolutely struck me how fiercely they gravitated towards each other, and yet, still- with her hands being the most dangerous conduit of her magic- Elsa canât let herself touch Anna.
It was such a powerful moment, and Iâm still devastated.
âWe need people in our lives with whom we can be as open as possible. To have real conversations with people may seem like such a simple, obvious suggestion, but it involves courage and risk.â
