I'm not the anon who initially suggested desperately holding back, but as another fan of "situations where you cannot sneeze NO matter what but you really gotta" - maybe you are holding something delicate, like a stack of plates, and a sneeze would make you drop them for sure? Alternately, "while hiding" is always a classic, or "at a formal dinner or some sort of important event where sneezing would be rude"?
