Reading a book about autism by autistic people for obvious reasons and one thing that keeps making me laugh is recurring advice from the contributors to the effect of "get some exercise. you're probably bad at it and you're probably carrying trauma from childhood because of that but do it anyways. maybe you're better now or maybe not. either way, it will help"

at the end of the book are profiles from the writers who contributed essays and one of the questions is "what piece of advice do you have" and obviously the best one is from steve who advises "Don't kill yourself"
