a 2020 sketchdump.

It was a rough year for everyone. I started into a design program that is very intense when in person, and even more so when taught all online. I lost a lot of confidence. I felt really terrible about myself, my art, and where I want to go in life. But I’m still trucking!

I often feel bad that I don’t have much to post. I start things and then abandon them. But... sketchdumps ARE A THING. Lots of people do them. Sometimes once a week, sometimes once a month! I feel that I lost that feeling of... Sketching just to sketch? Not having something finished at the end, just doodling to say “hey, I’m playing around!”

So a big goal for 2021 is doing a sketchdump once per week. Just... taking the stuff I’ve drawn or started that week and putting it out there. Maybe I’ll try to say “hey, what should i work more on?” or maybe even just seeing it out in the world will encourage me.

Either way, 2021 is here, and so am I.

Well I got good news for you kiddo, this website has you covered! Originally @modmad made a post about it, but her link stopped working and I managed to fix it, so here’s a new post. Basically, this is a costume rental website for plays and stage shows and what not, they have outfits for several different decades from medieval to the 1980s. LOOK AT THIS SELECTION:

Two Kobold OCs!!! Beppe and Lenore.

Beppe was abandoned as a small child on the stoop of an opera house. He was raised by the opera house owners and eventually inherited it from the two of them (but that’s not common knowledge :OOO )

Lenore is a tough cookie and a delight to be around! She’s a little vain, and very bold, and will stand up to just about anyone to defend her friends. Mostly I love her little tail tuft!

I’ve been gone for a long time

Okay so, I’m starting to make an effort to have an online presence again. 

There’s some TLDR under the cut for reasons etc and why I might still be a little ghosty. Tomorrow on my lunch break I’ll be responding to all unanswered messages.

So in short: One bad job, Two jobs (one good), quit the bad job, bad depression, trying to get better.
