it hurts, knowing that the livestream was the last of unus annus. I’m regretful that I didn’t take the chance to involve myself with it. I watched the stream and saw, from the outside, the love and community Unus Annus created. I desperate wish I had been a part of that, but the most i can say was that I was there to say goodbye. The only thing I can do now is know that this isn’t the only thing I’m regretful of, that I’ve missed a lot of opportunities and messed a lot of things up for myself. Memento mori teaches me that the only way forward is to truly change myself. I cannot keep living the way I have been. I need to dedicate myself to my art, to my presence; I don’t want to leave behind wisps of a ghost when I eventually log off for the last time. I need to leave a mark, but i can only do that if I change myself.

I feel...right, about this revelation somehow. It feels different than my normal executive dysfunction. I really want  to change. I don’t want this to ever happen again. I think I’m really ready.

Thank you, Unus Annus. I was only a spectator, but thank you for showing me that I’ve been only a spectator for everything else in my life, as well.

I’m tired of mourning what could have been. Memento Mori.
