hi!! i do play java edition, and any help would be amazing!! my current method involves a small redstone machine in the spawn area and command blocks, but i’ve not looked into datapacks since getting back into playing. they seem like they’d be more intuitive though, so i’d love some help!! :0

I tried to make an origins server using Aternos and following my curseforge on what versions of mods to use and it did not work ;-;

I just have like 3 origins mods added on and the one mod used to change player character sizes.

hello! as someone whos run a few MC servers, spesificly on fabric: -I recommend a whitelist just incase someone sees this post, downloads the mods with malicious intent. -Try Lithium!, it may help with server performance (No telling on aternos tho) https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/lithium , client side mods like Sodium may also help (Check to make sure none of your mods are incompatable tho! as sodium can break a few, but its a really good mod, its by the same people :D)

there are more things that can help but these are all the ones i can think of off the top of my head

ALSO Make sure you have the Fabric API in your Mods folder as it needs this to run mods in general! (always good to remind yourself of this, i have forgotten this on multiple occasions)

Hey everyone! In light of etsy’s new policies that gouge shop owners out of even more income, I’ve decided to participate in the Etsy strike.

What is Etsy doing?

Two things.

First, every seller is now being included in Etsy ads, with no way of opting out. This means that if a customer clicks any Etsy ads, the seller is charged 15-20%. (Notibly, this is even if the ad wasn’t showing anything from their shop.) This is a huge loss.

Two. They’re raising the usual fees from 33% to 35%. As a seller, I think I deserve a lot more then 65% of the value of my handmade goods.

Don’t fret. you can still get these Moss buttons, and for less by going to my website.

Some thoughts on acceleration and force

I presented this in the order of how I slowly understood the trick of delivering force - first an abstract concept of impact taught by Ah Fai, then a more complicated discovery on the acceleration pattern, last back to a more abstract concept of breakdowns.

Like I’ve previously stressed, 2D animation is everything but one single approach. There’s no one rule that rules them all, but interchangeable ideas with math, or physics, or music, etc. There’s no “perfect” animation either, but what is perceived as organic and dynamic. E.g., using the Fibonacci numbers to animate didn’t bring me a perfect animation! On the other hand, a tiny change in the pattern could already make the feeling of force so much more powerful.

Not so much of a tutorial than a personal experience. I hope you find this interesting hahaha

Aimed at people who don’t know where wool comes from, it’s 100% plastic. Yes, plastic.

So any garment you wash will release microfibres into the sea. It’ll never decompose.

You’re supposed to believe that sheep shearing is violent and cruel. There are imbeciles out there that work in an unprofessional manner while shearing, but that’s not the case overall.

Sheep don’t suffer from having their fleece removed.

Left on, the fleece can become a home for fly eggs and the subsequent maggots which can eat the sheep. Chemical treatments are available to prevent that happening. It’s much better for the sheep, the land and the farmer to avoid chemical use.

Don’t be fooled. Wool is a sustainable material, one we should make more and better use of.

In my almost-decade of owning sheep, there have been exactly two(2) bad shearers try to start up in the area. Know what happened? The first farm they went to called every other shepherd in the area and said “This guy cut one of my sheep and didn’t think it was a big deal, don’t hire him.” And neither of them ever did business in the area again.

Some farmers are less conscientious than they should be about taking care of their stock, and the occasional tiny nick will happen, but no one is going to hire a shearer who is a) incompetent enough and b) uncaring enough to actually injure the animals to the point of bleeding, let alone the kind of horrors the internet claims.

Also, most breeds of sheep will literally die if they go too long without being sheared. PETA (and let’s face it, most of this anti-wool stuff can be traced back to deliberate misinformation from PETA) doesn’t care if sheep die, they have openly stated that they would prefer every domestic species that can no longer survive without humans go extinct rather than live in “"slavery.”“

Humans and sheep have lived together for over ten thousand years, they’ve been domesticated longer than dogs! Their lives consist of doing whatever the heck they want (for the most part they only want to walk, eat, sleep, play, and make lambs) while being fed and cared for, for the low price of having their hair cut once a year. Why would anyone boycott this natural, biodegradable fiber humans have been using for so long to the benefit of both species, in favor of plastics that are killing the planet??

Not to mention shearing most often happens in the spring, specifically to prepare them for the warmer months so they’re, you know, actually comfortable. It isn’t exactly ideal to be “snuggly and warm in your own wooly jumper” in the middle of the fucking summer you piece of shit company.
