Big enough for its own little starter bowl, not quite big enough to take the mother leaf off yet - still has a long way to go but there's some good strong roots! So precious at this age.

See that cute, curly little “Nearly”? Yeah, that part’s important. The asshole who made this adorable graphic should have made it bold, italic, and all caps, like so: NEARLY.
Still, Nearly is a poor word in this case. Should’ve been Not. Not at all.
Tell you what, when I was a wee lad, not yet given my powers of planty cognizance, I killed several on this list within weeks! Philodendron? Killed some. Mint? I hate mint, but I’ve killed some other herb. Ivy? Got spider mites, never recovered. Boston ferns? Ugh. It was dead before it even left the store!
Also, which asshole put succulents in a terrarium? God damnit. Succulents like arid (meaning dry, for you neanderthals) conditions, not humidity.
Things that upset me:
- Fake flowers glued onto cacti
- Painted succulents
- Amaryllis bulbs dipped in wax so they are “waterless”
- Norwegian pines painted and covered in glitter
- racks of succulents left out in the rain for weeks to get soggy
-Dyed potted orchids
- poinsettias sprayed with glitter - those bouquets of daisies & carnations dyed technicolor
-seasonal plants that are used for landscaping and then thrown away when replaced by new ones
All things I hate so much ^^^^^
Someone saying oh I need pots without holes so it doesn’t spill everywhere.
-Cacti and succulents in terrariums -finding cacti and succulents fallen on the ground in Home Depot, never bring cleaned up
Big chain stores throwing away massive amounts of plants because they ‘don’t look nice anymore’ - in other words have stopped flowering for this season - and replacing them with new ones that are flowering. And the people working there are not allowed to take them home or anything.
All of these things bring out my inner asshole. Also outer asshole. I’ve basically prolapsed, it’s disgusting. Ass everywhere.
Adding: dyed cacti. In god-awful primary colors, no less.
Echeveria-gasm!

Echeveria ‘Peach Pride’
Graptoveria cv.opalina
Echeveria ‘Holy Gate’ (aka Holly Gate). The second photo does not do the blooms justice!
Color difference in one of my arrangements!
Sedum pachyphyllum blooming in a mixed pot. It’s the first time I’ve had one of the “jellybean group” sedums bloom, so gimme a 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
