the first rule of detective fiction is that the detective in question should ALWAYS just be the nosiest person alive and never be a cop
[image id: a four-page comic. it is titled “immortality” after the poem by clare harner (more popularly known as “do not stand at my grave and weep”). the first page shows paleontologists digging up fossils at a dig. it reads, “do not stand at my grave and weep. i am not there. i do not sleep.” page two features several prehistoric creatures living in the wild. not featured but notable, each have modern descendants: horses, cetaceans, horsetail plants, and crocodilians. it reads, “i am a thousand winds that blow. i am the diamond glints on snow. i am the sunlight on ripened grain. i am the gentle autumn rain.” the third page shows archaeopteryx in the treetops and the skies, then a modern museum-goer reading the placard on a fossil display. it reads, “when you awaken in the morning’s hush, i am the swift uplifting rush, of quiet birds in circled flight. i am the soft stars that shine at night. do not stand at my grave and cry.” the fourth page shows a chicken in a field. it reads, “i am not there. i did not die” / end id]
a comic i made in about 15 hours for my school’s comic anthology. the theme was “evolution”
galwednesday:
she had the face of an angel, a snow angel though
he had a body you’d expect to fish out of the river
her voice reminded you of why you left her in the first place, as she patiently listed all the reasons why you left her in the first place.
he had a face you’d want to punch, not because there was anything wrong with the face itself, but just because it was his and he was a dick.
ironically after all this time spent rebelling against her upbringing she had turned out exactly like her mother: an adult woman.
it was an ordinary Tuesday when you walked into my office, feeling vaguely uneasy about the use of the second person perspective.
terrible website feature that came to me in a dream
I love jaywalking with strangers. They can’t kill all of us!!!
my friend was testing perfumes out at the store and she sniffed a bottle and anounced "ngl this bitch kind of sucks" The girl at the counter suddenly looked really sad, and my friend was like "I'm sorry, I wasn't talking about you." And the girl looked up and said "No don't worry, I didn't think that, but I just crushed a ladybug with my shoe" We both took a peak over the counter. she'd stepped on a red m&m
heh. get em boys. *the two large bodyguards next to me do not move* boys. come on. please
True freedom.
Very true but why does this jpeg look like the fever dream of a dying man
my parents trying to get ahold of me in 1998
This will forever be my favorite story told by Eddie Redmayne.
