South Park Headcanons #1 : Tweek has atelophobia
(Okay first, this is just a headcanon, nothing that I’m saying is real, this is just my imagination that talks)
First of all, atelophobia is the fear of being imperfect or the feeling of not being good enough.
People with atelophobia have often :
Constant worrying about upcoming activities
Tweek fits in all those categories, he is always shaking, panicking, and his low self-esteem is proven in s19e6 ‘Tweek x Craig’ when Tweek mentions that he’s a terrible actor and that he’ll never be able to act.
Tweek is constantly shaking and panicking, the ton of coffee that he drinks is one of the reasons, but maybe his fear of being imperfect has been developped as long as he started to drink coffee.
He thinks drinking coffee would make him feel better, but in fact he would just feel worse.

How Tweek is getting helped with that fear :
Craig is the first reason, at first they were just friends, and that was already enough to make Tweek feel a bit better, he was feeling appreciated, he also got close with Clyde and Token.
Let’s get back to Craig, in the yaoi episode Craig is helping Tweek with his low self-esteem, telling him he can do it, that he’s gonna be great.
And it worked, maybe a bit too much though.
After that, Tweek felt bad to have ‘broke up’ with Craig, seeing that things got worse than before.
He then realizes Craig was helping him a lot. If you pay attention in this episode, Tweek doesn’t shake or panic when he is to Craig. That when he realizes that he needs Craig.
“You made me believe in myself in a way I never have before. I didn’t think I had any of that in me, but... you were right. I can do more than I think.”
And so, they got back together, Craig stayed with Tweek, not only for making people happy, but to help Tweek with his fear. While helping Tweek, he also got help as well from him, Tweek listens to his problems and try to make Craig feel better.
“I just wanna fix whatever’s hurting you right now.”
And that’s it for now, I just wanted to do some heacanon about my son (and his boyfriend) I feel like I wanna do more of those with other characters.
