The fetishization of heterosexual men for representing “normal male sexuality” must end. We must allow beautiful, secure queer men to be loved in all aspects of the word. It is simply unacceptable in our day in the year two-thousand and GAY-teen that we are not looking to people like Tyler, Frank, Troye, Calum, and Keiynan to be the role models for all young gays and future young gays. It is time to change.
We also have to be critical of heterosexual male artists when they deliberately play up the ambiguity of their sexual orientations for the sake of maintaining a gay male following… don’t let them get away with that shit
