Moonbows
A moonbow, also known as a lunar rainbow or white rainbow, is a rainbow created by moonlight rather than sunlight. It's formed when light from the moon refracts and reflects off water droplets, like those in rain or mist, creating a visible arc of light in the sky. Moonbows are generally fainter and less colorful than regular rainbows, and they are much rarer due to the need for specific conditions like a full or near-full moon, clear skies, and dark skies.
can I say something extremely controversial man…they’re trying to roll back gay marriage and they’ve already decimated trans rights in the US and UK and they’re censoring government agencies and if your primary engagement with the queer community is calling negative sentiment against male/female couples biphobia your time may be better served by helping Oprah as she pursues Dr. Phil on a ship across the arctic. Like she’s out in subzero waters by herself and we all just let her do it. That’s gotta weigh heavy on your conscience. I know it does on mine
ACT UP, 1990
Men have hindered the progress of humanity by suppressing geniuses from half the human population. Women were prevented from making meaningful contributions to mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, engineering, geology, ecology, etc. for thousands of years.
Think of all the genius women who were forced to become homemakers and housewives, overburdened with 10+ children until their bodies gave in to stress, and perished their intellect - only utilised when a man would steal their ideas without credit.
Men talk about how they "contributed everything" to history and science. The question that should be asked is, how much more advanced would humankind have been were it not for the barbarity of weak men? How much have men slowed human progression because the genius of women made them feel emasculated?
The complete ‘Women Who Changed Science - And The World" collection in honor of the 95th Women’s Equality Day.

i need to gush about how incredibly seamless her compositing is in these. Compositing is incredibly hard and time consuming work on a crisp clean digital image. But compositing into what seems to be a scanned photograph that was shot on film? Insane work. The film grain + photo paper texture is matched perfectly as well as the varying softness from being slightly out of focus in different amounts in each image. Each film stock has its own specific tone too some are warmer, others are more purply, or green and they all handle contrast with light and shadow completely differently. There was so much to take into account doing this and i really dont know how she did it other than maybe finding those locations again and shooting with the same film stock on a day with similar lighting. I cannot stress enough that for professional photographers doing complex compositing is mostly relegated to having a fully locked down camera set up in studio under controlled repeatable lighting. Super impressive and a really fantastic photo series truly.
This game, about listing as many animals as you can, is shockingly well-considered and polished for such an apparent shitpost of a game idea
