This is what all those text-heavy pieces of cyberpunk fashion look like, the way they play with the contrast of font sizes and detail vs simplicity
You actually cannot skip to being good at a creative endeavour that you haven't put much practice into. You cannot trick your way out of the 'knows that your work is not what you want it to be but don't know how to improve it' stage by planning or reading or talking about it really really hard. At some point you just have to craft through it until your brain finds it's own unique way back to the 'everything I make slaps' stage and be prepared to start the cycle all over again. You just have to make that project you're excited about slightly less good than you want it to be. (Says this standing in a pool of blood and covered in blood and also coughing up a little blood)
This is from a post with a lot of reblogs yet I can't find a single person in the notes pointing out how insanely racist the entire second paragraph is. Hello??
They are treating Black men as uniquely dangerous and scary, they are treating Black people in general as uniquely antisemitic, they are treating Black kids (specifically kids!) as a dangerous threat.
Then they immediately pat themself in the back by claiming they've supposedly "fought passionately against anti blackness", using this self-congratulatory bullshit to treat Black people as hypocritical and ungrateful.
No one questions any of this, no one questions why a post about antisemitism is singling out Black people for no reason. A lot of people are way too willing to buy any narrative that demonizes Black people and blames them for all kinds of oppression.
Extra insulting when you remember that Chris Smalls is a black man who was held longer than the rest of his Flotilla peers save for a Palestinian person as well. They beat him and treated him rougher than others.
And you have the gall to say you’re *afraid* of black men with pro-Palestinian gear? Go to hell.
it's usually morally correct to make fun of the usa but whenever i hear british people do it it feels kinda tone deaf. idk if we have the high ground here guys. its like your mom making fun of your mental illness like ma'am where do you think i got it from.

While it's important to recognise that depictions of mental health and mental illness in video games are often dogshit, and a "sanity meter" flattens understanding of the impossibly complex issues of mental health into a single metric
We also have to acknowledge that sometimes you do just encounter shit that causes your sanity meter to decrease

pop health science is so annoying bc it'll be like "did you know? eating strawberries will give you mega cancer" and you're like pfft whatever begone influencer. but sometimes then you'll see a reasonably credible article like "Study Shows Possible Link Between Strawberries and Mega Cancer" and you're not usually the type to follow that kind of thing religiously but idk maybe you should consider not eating strawberries? but then there's another article saying "Strawberry/Mega Cancer Study Debunked" and it turns out the original study had a sample size of 3 and was funded by Big Blueberry, and strawberries may have a small connection to mega cancer but only if you are genetically predisposed to mega cancer and eat 50 strawberries every day. so you return to your strawberry eating life. but whenever you eat strawberries in public someone tells you about the mega cancer.
