Guy makes a really stupid decision and gets in a car accident -> no real damage from accident but insurance goes up -> starts beating himself up over his stupid decision -> gets depressed -> starts to realize he's single and had crash been worse he'd die alone -> realizes he's never had a relationship or even a crush and starts wondering what he'd want out of a relationship -> starts to realize he doesn't really like girls so he thinks he must be gay -> realizes he likes girls and boys about the same amount, so he must be bi -> later realizes that "same amount" is none at all -> he's ace

Tried to talk about golden ages in art mediums w a roommate and ngl i got a little frustrated.

How you define a golden age in art is wobbly and you kinda have to be pretty invested to be able to identify the markers of a golden age. Like, sure, animation has existed the entire time we've had the technology for moving pictures, so its not like it ever truely goes away.

But like, ive been invested in anime since 2003 and ive been invested in animation history for over a decade. I think i know what im talking about when i say shit like "we'll probably never see animation in this style executed with this level of mastery ever again"
