anywayyy i will not be made to feel crazy or delusional for believing that people shouldn’t have to earn their place in the world. that everybody should be afforded dignity, even beauty, and life, regardless if they have ‘worked hard’ or checked a box or not. regardless of who they are and where they are born. the laziest person in the world is not less deserving of happiness than the most hardworking person. deserving means nothing. free your mind of the idea of deserving and you will begin to be able to think!!

dai could of had something interesting to say when it comes to vivienne's age/how the nightmare targets her age specifically when theyre all in the fade but why would it do that when it can just be a nothing setup for her personal quest so the player has more reason to assume the potion is for her

idk maybe witnessing your lover of twenty plus years slowly fading away and eventually dying from age-related complications would severely change how you view aging and the vulnerability that comes with that. the lack of autonomy as you become weaker and more dependant on others, and not having anyone you can rely upon for that support. not to mention the weight of being seen as an icon of beauty within a society that already barely tolerates you/objectifies you and how aging would effect that status. if i wanted to be generous, maybe there's something there with how vivienne specifically targets fiona's age in two seperate comments, and it doubling as a way to both undermine fiona's competency and acts as a sort of projection. a sort of over correction for vivienne's own anxieties

but at the same time even if i pull all of this vaguely out of the air its still just kind of. annoyinggg. to me. the entirety of it is irritating because it doesn't actually mean anything im just connecting lines and dots
