Hi there, do you exist in the world and have a lot of time on your hands, but also can’t stand the sound of your own thoughts? May I recommend Drawfee, a youtube comedy drawing show which has been the background sound of my life for about two years now. I realize my pitch that hey, it’s better than literal silence, may not sound super compelling so I’ll elaborate: it is a funny and extremely chill show with people who like each other talking while they do art. Fantastic. Exquisite. Feel like a silent fifth party eavesdropping on some people having fun.
Anyway if like me you are constantly looking for online content that gently releases sweet good vibe chemicals in your brain, here’s a shitload of episodes I like. They’re all about 20-40 mins long. Stars next to the ones I particularly like, but I feel like that’s gonna tell you more about me than about drawfee.
*Artists Draw Themselves Into Their Favorite Anime (Speed draw where everyone’s art is very good but frankly we all get distracted because we have to talk about Julia’s wild flex)
Scooby-Doo Drawing Challenge (ft. Simone from Polygon) (you know, scooby doo! like from that episode of supernatural. Simone is great and Nathan could not be more delighted by the art.)
Professional Artists Redraw Their Old Art (Speed draw ft the phrase “Mid-2000s hetero nonsense”)
Impossible Coloring Challenge (art but make it bullying)
Artists Draw Urban Fantasy D&D Characters (ft. Brennan Lee Mulligan) (an Unsleeping City themed episode. A powerful bard is made this day.)
*Artists Draw Their Fursonas (speed draw. This episode made me want a fursona so goddamn bad)
Turning Animals Into Original Characters Challenge (just an extremely chill hangout episode)
*Drawing Dungeons & Dragons Cats (an entire episode that’s about the tv show Columbo)
Drawing Backgrounds For Video Calls (another chill hangout video that features my husband Kaiba)
Professional Artists Redraw Their Childhood Art (Speed draw. Full Moonpaw comic reboot and relaunch when)
Drawing Thomas the Tank Engine Original Characters (body horror. car body horror.)
The Hottest New Board Game (ft. McElroy Brothers) (the first episode I saw! Monster factory energy except the character creator is just two other people drawing)
*Artists Draw Gigantamax Pokémon From Memory (look, the way Julia says “laser eyyyyyyyes” in the beginning is all I’m thinking about 24/7.)
Artists Draw Kaiba in Different Styles (when I was younger I used to walk around and listen to “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and “In The End” on repeat because those were my Kaiba songs. I also had an elaborate plot line where he was begging crushed under a boulder and no one could get him out so he was just endlessly suffering. I was 11 and I knew what I wanted my favorite characters to experience. Anyway, speed draw episode.)
Artists Draw MORE Disney Characters As Dark Souls Bosses (boy I wish I could say I’m recommending this for a reason that isn’t “in depth exploration of Gaston/lefou oviposition” but I’m not here to lie to you)
Knock-Off Pokémon Based On Food (look anytime they talk like Joey Wheeler, it’s a good episode.)
Dungeons & Dragons & DRAWING | Drawga Episode 1 (ayyyyyyy plot! Come get ya plot over here! If you want drawings with story. Or if you like Naddpod and you’re like “I want that but only with Caldwell and also Tonathan Tinkle, and also I want to see faces as they talk.” Ten episodes in total. Elyse Willems and Rekha Shenkar are the funniest guests alive.)
Drawtectives: Episode 1 (ayyyyyyyy plot! Come get ya plot part 2 murder mystery edition!! But also friendship? And half orc feet pics? Eleven episodes.)
Chenrich in the Life is Strange: True Colors First Official Gameplay Trailer
I tried.
Again.
Misinformation is also a virus and our country is just as infected with it as it is with COVID-19.
Bunk thinks he is perfectly innocent publicly posting his bad information. That he is not harming anyone. But he has influence over his loved ones and his friends and maybe even strangers that see his nonsense.
He is a potential superspreader of misinformation.
And that is dangerous.
It's clear he did almost no research. It's clear he is basing his opinions on scraps of information he heard god knows where. And yet he speaks with authority and freely spreads his thoughts without a care that what he says is actually true.

I usually try to post fun happy things here, but I think it is important to see these conversations. Maybe you can improve upon what I did in your own personal debates. I know trying to convince people is difficult and frustrating, but we must try to stop the spread of misinformation. We need to get through to those friends and family members who have been duped by the likes of Tucker Carlson and other hucksters.
Saving for later now
What the ever living fuck
The day I don’t reblog this is the day I have lost my sense of humor completely
FUCK NOT THIS AGAIN
its so freeing when you realize you can literally write whatever you want
it doesnt have to be good or anything you can just write things and post them and it doesnt matter at all
“your story sucks” what are you going to do? refund the money u didn’t pay? you are a bozo
[ID: the Bugs Bunny in tuxedo meme, edited to say: "i wish all of my Jewish followers a very pleasant Rosh Hashanah." End ID]
For anyone who is unclear on the matter or needs to hear this: fictional characters, while awesome, are literally not real. They do not exist and therefore are not worth sending death threats and suicide bait to real people over. There are 0 exceptions to this rule.
its saturday rb saturday shorts [yt]

You can reblog Saturday shorts every day of the week if you’re gay enough
"EPITHETS!" yelled the short, grumpy, red-eyed cancer.
the lesson for today, class, is when to use epithets rather than names or pronouns — and when not to.
USE EPITHETS:
- when the character’s name is unknown, so there’s really no other way to refer to them:
Two goons in suits blocked my way. “You ain’t going nowhere,” said the ugly mook. The even-uglier mook just grinned.
- to draw attention to the role or function described:
Bill was so excited to meet Obama, he was a little worried he’d end up remembering today as the day he threw up on the president.
- as in-character commentary to flesh out the POV’s voice:
You stand back and nudge the door open with your toe in case of falling buckets, but it seems the windy dipshit has given up on that particular tired prank.
(NOTE: use this last one SPARINGLY. consider your own internal monologue. how often do you think of people by anything but their names? too much of this trick breaks immersion.)
DO NOT USE EPITHETS:
- to avoid using pronouns.
- to avoid using names.
- to remind the reader of physical characteristics you should’ve described elsewhere.
- to remind the reader of physical characteristics they already know perfectly well because they wouldn’t even be reading your damn fanfic if they weren’t familiar with canon, come ON people.
- to try to sound erudite or poetic.
- for any other stupid reason. i’m serious. i will come over there and hit you.
- i’m not kidding.
- fucking stop.
Yes. READ THIS PEOPLE.
^^^^^^
It bears repeating, fic writers: if you’re thinking about using an epithet because you fear you’re being repetitive, YOU ARE NOT. Trust me.
i hate epithets so much that i wrote this
Everyone would much rather read “Draco” or “Steve” than “the tall blond” or “his blond lover”.
This forever! This forever and ever! Using epithets in the above fashion is an instant back button for me personally. Please never ever write ‘the blonde’ or ‘the blond man’ I beg of you!

The day has come. This is the only day of the year you can post this
u dont have to call it lovecraftian u can call it cosmic horror 🙏🙏 the man did not invent the genre
Did Kafka invent transmutation? Yet we proceed to call such events, while insect oriented, as Kafkaesque, don't we?

This is about Sci-Hub. yeah we get it.. gatekeep knowledge and protect the interests of capital…
Listen, this is serious.
Do not use the website called Sci-Hub!
It lets people access scientific articles for free. This is dangerous. It helps the free flow of knowledge and reduces the competitive edge of all the people who worked really hard to have been born into a wealth.
Like, it’s literally a website where you can type in the DOI of an article and read it, without ever having to pay the publisher who exploited the author.
So, again, do not, under any circumstance, use Sci-Hub. I mean, can you imagine a world where knowledge is free and easily accessible to everyone? Even, y'know, poor people?
Libgen also has many books online, including textbooks, searchable by name, author, and ISBN. Can you imagine textbook companies not getting their hard-earned income from poor college students? Here is the link just so you make sure that you never accidentally stumble across this horrible, unethical website.
Oh, and while we’re talking about books, if you’ve managed to stay clear from Libgen, definitely don’t go to zlibrary, where you can also find a lot of textbooks, but unfortunately they’re completely free.
Reblogging so you know which sites to totally avoid
