Less question more idea what if one day Fontaine is spewing about in her oni form and accidentally hurts will or Ant. Especially Ant. The angst.
Need more of Fontaine using the ninjas as enrichment
Imagining Fontaine helping to invade the city and accidentally finding Ant before he can change into his ninja get up and just being like "NO YOU CAN'T BE HERE YOU'RE TO SQUISHY!!!" and just running with him trying to find him the perfect place to hide
Fontaine is SUUUPER careful about using her full form around Will and Ant for this exact reason. I can picture her accidentally hurting Will when she was really little and didn’t know her own strength, which is part of why she went with Kaiko instead of Will. A human toddler can’t hurt an Oni on accident, but a toddler Oni could accidentally hurt a human. I picture her going through some toddler phases correlating with some of the shock of Ant’s birth, I’ll get into that later, that Will couldn’t be much help in because toddlers don’t know their own strength. Fontaine to this day feels super guilty about the few times she hurt Will when she was little, and in the early days of getting to know her dad again was supppper cautious around him. She hardly uses any of her Oni abilities around Will or Ant, she’s usually not even in her base form in case someone sees her through a window or something
Now with the Green Ninja? There’s your angst potential. Fontaine, even as her base form, not a full-Oni, hurts the Green Ninja, and finds out months later that’s her little brother? And he never told her? That would hurt. I already play with that between Ant and Kaiko in my drawings I first posted, because Ant’s relationship with his mom and sister is greatly affected by his job as the Green Ninja and how he interacts with them and vice versa behind a mask. The reveal is dramatic on several levels because his whole family is realizing who was behind that mask and it shatters their whole world view and Ant is scrambling to pick the pieces back up

Fontaine absolutely would and has scooped Ant up because he couldn’t get away somewhere fast enough. This is canon. He’s had to panic call one of the other ninja to come pick him up from wherever his sister dumped him so she doesn’t think he got down on his own (which he could) and then it’s a race to get away from Fontaine because as far as she cares her little brother is being kidnapped. Sometimes Ant spends the whole attack playing hide and go seek with his sister, effortlessly keeping her occupied BUT also cutting the team short a ninja
I saw your tags on the other post, and absolutely Fontaine and even Kaiko get suuuuuper territorial over Ant (and Will). Different kinds of territorial depending on which one it is, but yeah, they get territorial over them towards other people. Now, while Oni are territorial, this is a kind of territorial that’s specific to this situation. If Ant and Will were Oni, Kaiko and Fontaine would not be nearly as territorial as they are. That’s not the situation though, the boys are either human or human passing, and this has caused prejudice. Which means Fontaine and Kaiko get territorial to levels that Oni usually don’t get about each other
Ant never introduces Fontaine to his friends pre-reveal, partly because he’s paranoid she’s gonna match up their heights and voices and figure out their Ninja side-business, but also because he knows she has no chill, and growls when he mentions them, so he doesn’t really wanna find out how she’ll react when they’re in the same room as her. If he talks about someone he knows but isn’t close to, she’s fine. A little grumpy, but it’s no big deal. But if he talks about someone he’s close to and knows personally? Immediate territorialness. She doesn’t know them, or their intentions. That’s her little brother, it’s her job as his big sister to keep him safe. They haven’t passed her inspection, and she gets super angry over the mention of any slight towards him, immediately demanding to know who was responsible. This does however sometimes end in situations like this though
