Dear Davey,

Katherine is forcing me to write this letter. In fact, she is standing directly over my shoulder and monitoring the words I write, to ensure that they form proper sentences. (Which, by the way, is intrusive!) However, she made a very good point while yelling at me to sit down and get it all out there: I need to pull my head out of my ass. So I am, I’m finally going to do what I swore I would do about five years ago, and tell you the truth. The whole truth.

Spanish is my first language. Spot taught me how to drive stick shift a whole year before we met. I know how to tie a bowtie. I’m never calling for your roommate’s advice on anything when he’s conveniently not there. And I definitely know how to take a screenshot on a laptop, I promise.

blink piercing sniper’s ears (and eventually, a bunch of other places) and making sure its sanitary and shit, and making sure she lets them heal properly and fussing over them

blink and sniper with stick n pokes. blink going over snipers faded ones for her 

blink dying her hair (and she helps him bleach his but he doesnt trust her since that time she dyed it pink by accident)

lots of alt music and arguing about bands that no one cares about

imagine? them both being non binary? blinks nb and gay and shes a nb trans lesbian and they bond over it???!!!

in fact, he helped her figure out her feelings on gender and such when she was confused and found her resources and stuff that helped her, and helped her saving up for transition stuff and helped her come out to the other newsies

he sews patches onto her jacket w her. she complains tho, because he always sews them on crooked. he tells her to get fucked and she flips him off

sniper has a height chart that blink marks for her constantly. shes trying to outgrow him

both of them have the biggest heart eyes for their respective partners… so tough but absolutely melt for their significant others

mush is always bugging her to weAR HER KNEEPADS

(they both skip out on helmets sometimes…)

(helmet hair ruins the aesthetic…)

(but if smalls brings it up mush denies it)

he goes to ALL her derby games

mush plays hockey and she goes to his games!

they inline and recreational skate together

they both own ‘too much’ rainbow clothing (there is no such thing as too much rainbow clothing)

he gives her piggyback rides all the time bc hes 💪 and shes tiny

he gives her advice on asking sniper out (and talks about how he and blink got together cuz hes gay like that)

they do karaoke together while doing ANY chores. catch them belting any and every 80s pop hit

she sits on his feet and reads magazines and plays on her ds as he does pull ups

every time they see a puppy they both start crying tears of joy

mush and blink bringing smalls and sniper to their first pride, and theyre so proud for so many reasons

"Sorry" Blink cringes, shifting to get up, then offering Mush a hand. He takes it, but then taps Blink's ankle with his hockey stick, Blink decking it as Mush stifles a laugh, "now we're even", but course he gives him a hand back up. Both their faces redden hearing the duo from the penalty box, "GET A ROOM ALREADY!"
