the Mordecai part isn't mine, That was just a base pic allows us to draw our OC's with him so I thought it would be interesting and wanted to try it too.

Approximately how old are all of the characters (in human years)?
When the canon comic takes place, Ivy and Freckle are roughly fresh out of high school, making them about 18. Rocky’s 22 going on 12. Mitzi refuses to divulge…and so does Zib for that matter. Wick is 30-something and Viktor is 41. Nico and Serafine are in their mid-20’s, and Mordecai is 28, although he seems to have everyone convinced he’s older than that.

We all are agrees that Mordecai is confirmed as Ace male character.

The point is the timeline of the story 1920, well, we all know that these things were not discussed much at that time or were considered taboo. so he or other characters can't come out obviously as bi/gay/ or anything thou, (I mean, if you remember "Flirtation-60" chapter, no one would have noticed his inclinations and his avoidance of romantic activities, and they forced him to dance, People's information about these things weren't enough)
3. We have seen many times his behavior with people while they flirting or touching him, in my opinion he is someone who spends most of his time on his work than looking for a love life. He is a person feeling insecure about it, a one who spent his childhood forced to work, he was in migration, and now he has no time to explore love and feelings.

4. Also, by knowledge of his social awkward, n the way he doesn't allow ppl to get close to him easily (especially touch), so it's very difficult to communicate with him. even talking. (unless you're talking about his interests like symmetry-Geometry ch65) in my view he is a very cold-tempered, grumpy (ofc attractive lol) man. Even I think he is more towards being aroace.
5. He is a very separatist and non-dependent person mentally and emotionally, that's why I say feelings and emotional dependence have no place in Mordecai's life. As soon as he left Mitzi's gang, he avoided any contact with Victor. We haven't seen them together, despite the strong relationship of cooperation between the two. (Even I think he has a slightly narssis line of thinking, only cares about himself)
