Zoey Taltatheil’s Redesign!!!

As per usual, headcanons and details:

•First outfit is pre time jump, second is post.

•She’s an Yggdrasil elf, which comes from norse mythology, so I tried to incorporate a little bit of norse ish details in her design (there’s really not much but she’s an elf which i don’t really associate with norse mythology so i kinda struggled)

•Yggdrasil elves are the tallest of the elves. It’s not uncommon for them to reach heights of 6’6 or 6’7. Zoey is considered slightly shorter than average.

•Yggdrasil elves are also the least common to see out in the “wild”. It’s not entirely uncommon to see elves walking around, though they do tend to keep away from human villages. But Yggdrasil elves rarely leave their forest.

•When an elf discovers they have magicks, and uses them for the first time, markings appear on their body to represent whatever their magicks is. It’s unknown why this occurs or why it’s only to elves. Zoey’s markings represent her barrier magicks.

•These markings are what led to her village finding out about her illegal use of magicks.

•After Zoey returns to the Yggdrasil Forest after literal hundreds of years of being gone, her child is grown and has a family of their own. A family in which Zoey is not allowed to be a part of. Her child hates her for doing magicks and therefore being forced to abandon them. They don’t speak to her whenever she’s there. Especially when she returns with Levin and Malachi, feeling like they’d been replaced. They resent Levin and Malachi a lot.

•Zoey plays the flute.

•The elves of the Yggdrasil Forest speak a different language than the rest of Ru’Aun, similar to a Scandinavian language.

•This language is called Alvetunge

•She teaches alvetunge to Levin and Malachi, and they speak it when they don’t want anyone else to know what they’re saying.

•She only swears in her alvetunge… Until she teaches it to the boys..

•She keeps journals. She has… A lot… She’s lived a long time

•She’s mildly… very much.. in love with Aphmau

•Oh! And! I may or may not have stolen this fromThe Dragon Prince, but elves have 4 fingers instead of 5

So, confession time, I'm an ex-Aphmau kid. Nana was always my favorite character growing up (aside from Zane and it was probably because I had/have a meif'wa bias and loved pink lol). Over the years, I've been slowly writing a Mystreet rewrite for fun! So, here's her various outfits and hairstyles for the different seasons (1, 2, 3, 5, and 6). My rewrite would definitely be very different from the canon series and would mostly be comedic although there would be moments of seriousness and sincerity to keep things interesting. (nothing to same level of seriousness in the later canon seasons though)

Nana Ashida (or Kaori Miyasaki as she's known up until season 5), is a magics using meif'wa originally hailing from the region of Tu'la before immigrating to Ru'aun for college! A lover of all things sweet and pink, Nana is a kind-hearted meif'wa with a lot of love to share. In between her jobs, she customizes dolls and bakes! She has aspirations to one day open her own bakery. She also has autism, ADHD, and PCOS. Her ears and tail are inspired by the Japanese Bobtail breed.

Her season 2 outfit was inspired by @mcdbrainrot and their Mystreet redesigns!
