One of the truths about couples you don't know!

6 Things People Don't Always Tell You About Studying
1. you ace tests by overlearning. you should know your notes/flashcards/definitions basically by heart. if someone asks you about a topic when you’re away from class or your notes and you can answer them in a thorough and and accurate answer, then you’re good, you know the material.
2. if you don’t understand something, it will end up on the test. so just don’t disregard and hope that this specific topic won’t be on the test. give it more attention, help, and practice. find a packet of problems on that one concept and don’t stop until you finish it and know it the best.
3. sometimes you just need that Parental Push. you know in elementary school, they would tell you “ok now it’s time for you to do your homework! you have a project coming up, start looking for a topic now!” ONE of your teachers might be like this. be thankful for it and follow their advice! these teachers are the best at always keeping you on track with their calendar. if not a teacher, then have one of your friends be that person that can keep you accountable for the things you promised you would do.
4. you just need to kick your own ass. seriously. i know it sucks and its hard to study for two things at once. BUT. I DONT CARE IF IT’S HARD. you need to do it and at least do it to get it over with because you can’t keep putting things off. If you do, you will eventually run out of time and you will hate yourself. force yourself to do it. i made myself sign up for june ACT even though there’s finals because if i didn’t, i probably never would. like do i think i’m gonna be ready in one month? probably not, SO I BETTER GET ON IT AND START STUDYING!
5. do homework even if it doesn’t count. if you actually try on it, then you will actually do so much better on the tests, it’s like magic.
6. literally just get so angry about procrastinating that you make yourself start that assignment. I know how hard it is to kick the procrastination habit. I have to procrastinate. So I make myself start by thinking about my deadlines way early. I think, “oh i have a presentation in three weeks (but it really takes 2 weeks to do), i’ll be good and start today.” when that doesn’t happen, you say you’ll do it tomorrow, and this happens for like the next four days. I get so mad at myself for not starting when i am given a new chance to do so with every passing day. By that time, you actually have exactly how much time you need for it AND you were able to procrastinate the same way you usually do ;)

How do u avoid urself from spending more time on ur phone and to motivate yourself to study more
Hmm..this one is quite a common problem but I do have some tips:~
**kinda long 'cause i went full out :p**
First, is to do a fact check---
Which one of the following is the real problem:
a) Your cell phone is suddenly an oh-so interesting entity.
b) You are distracting yourself from the task at hand by being on your phone because 'it is easier.'
c) Both a & c.
d) Others.
Case 1: (a) Then i would recommend you to:
(i) log out of the apps which you frequently get distracted by.
(ii) Even better, go the extra mile and delete the apps. This can work as a reward mechanism when you complete said work and install them back in and everything is merry again.
(iii) If that doesn't seem to work, then leave the phone alone in another location. Say, across the whole house.
In case you need your phone for your work, try the Forest app.
Show no mercy on yourself, block every little distracting site there is to exist, seek success.
Case 2: (b) You are distracting yourself from the task at hand by being on your phone because 'it is easier.'
This is your brain being a mean bitch to you. Usually, it is as I call it - "The Fear of The Unknown".
Simply putting it, your brain, being the coward it is decides to see the problem as a mountain and instead of getting across, that mf just decides to sit at the foot of said mountain and get absolutely nothing done.
This is common, only natural.
My personal tip is to go in detail before the problem gets the time to make more friends of it's own kind.
"Problems are like pokemons, the more you feed them time, the more they evolve."
Call me a bad trainer but no! I ain't seeing my cute pikachu turn into a whole raichu and send me to the depths of hell!
So, get the microscope out and dig that shit up. It should go something like this for example:
To-do list <<
<< Learn chapter 3 << [ Read textbook << today, from page 1 to 5 << tomorrow, from page 6 to 10 ] <<
<< Watch any 2 YT videos over unclear concepts << Read 2 pages from reference book .... and so on.
So, simply putting it : Break down the task into way smaller parts than what society calls shameful (they can leave, we're tryna live here).
Once, your past the "idk what to do or where to start" stage, we leave for the 'Trying to Stay Constantly Motivated' stage, cause not everyone has the will to live let alone succeed.
Obsessions help: It's about time y'all start obsessing over studies ^^ . I'm pretty sure you DO know that you ace that test with over learning, don't you?
You hear that voice in you head saying 'oh how i wish i could see some insta reels rn~~' ?? that's the neighbourhood aunt ,she is making sure that you fail in making yourself proud. And, you soldier, have a mission - To Not Let Her Get Her Way!!!
I could recommend the popular Pomodoro technique but personally it does not work for me. My brain just goes "Why should i take a break after 25 minutes when I can take a break RN?!" and i'm there like "I can't argue with your assessment, buddy".
So know your type, if you’re a student, you should know your study pattern by now, that is, whether you are a :
Visual learner.
Aural learner.
Verbal learner.
Logical learner.
Solitary learner.
Or a mix of the above.
Know which type of method works best for you.
Note that not every subject requires the same method, add a bit of frazzle-dazzle in your methods if that helps you.
Hope this helped at least a bit with your problems @khushiiiiiiiiii Sorry, it is a bit longer than intended. Also good luck on getting back up and slaying life~

My private method acquisition language sharing!!!
No grammar and second language acquired
Hello everyone, I am glad to share my second language learning experience with you.
My mother tongue is Chinese, and like many people, my second is English. The third Spanish because of my interest.
The second foreigner is required for exam-oriented education. I started to learn English in the third grade of elementary school. At that time, the teacher would memorize words and pronunciation, of course, it all started with very simple greetings. Most of the impressions are rote memorization, and more are recitations, such as words and articles.
There are requirements for learning indicators and test scores in the classroom, so learning a second language is not easy. More importantly, there is no English environment in my school and class. Speak English only in the two English classes a week. At other times, I communicate with my family and friends in my mother tongue. As a result, there is not enough language environment, it is naturally very difficult to learn, for a nine-year-old child.
In such a difficult language environment with stumbling and rote memorization, I studied English until I graduated from university. After fifteen years of foreign language test-oriented education, my English proficiency has probably reached the level of high school students in English-speaking countries.
Now that I graduated from university, I am interested in Spain and other Latin American countries. I like Latin American football culture. I look forward to seeing my favorite players play on the spot one day. I look forward to learning this language by myself one day. If it takes 15 years to reach the intermediate level according to the way of learning English, I will be shocked.
Later, by coincidence, I learned a learning method, and my sky was bright ever since. That is the second language acquisition hypothesis of the famous language educator Stephen Krashen.
As the name suggests, this language acquisition hypothesis is to learn like a baby's mother tongue, rather than specifically learning a language like in a classroom. Because of this method, I came into contact with a language software on the recommendation of a friend. There are many authentic pronunciation videos of local people, and it is oriented to languages from all over the world. In it, you can learn any language you want to learn, such as KoreanChinese and Indonesian. Sincerely share with everyone:https://hibee.com/d/DqeLXVYN.ko?d=DqeLXVYN&u=RLq2eQYb
There is no need to learn grammar specifically, let alone rote memorization, just go directly to the context to experience an audio-visual feast~
In this way, I gradually became more comfortable with the acquisition of Spanish. Because of this learning hypothesis and language software, I feel addicted to self-learning a language all my life. The positive feedback it gives me makes me feel very emotional, oh god, this is the feeling of heart!
I hope everyone can enjoy the long river of language they like.
