good to know:
keep a journal to track your progress irl to be more consistent
you can adapt it a bit to your liking and needs if necessary
the challenge:
—daily
meditate for 15 minutes or more daily
write down one positive thing you’ve been doing in your shifting journey and one thing you want to improve on
reflect about how you can improve on what you’re struggling with in your journey and integrate that reflection in your journey
—weekly
plan atleast 1 shifting attempt a week (add more attempts/week gradually over the 75 days)
one reoccurring moment every week where you script or write about your drs
reflect where you’re standing in your journey weekly— do i need to do mental work? or physical work (the act of shifting)?
i’ll be starting my challenge next week, however i do recommend starting 29 December/january 1st to partake in the challenge for your New Year’s resolutions 🤍
i get it. i get it. i get it. i get it. you do all the methods, all the routines, follow all the pink sparkly tumblr blog manifestation gurus to the point where it’s unclear where they end & you start. when manifestation is painted as this “i just take a deep breath & stop worrying & then my desire materializes in front of my face like something out of harry potter” (i don’t know a lot about harry potter so let’s hope that’s accurate) that’s … frustrating. not because that’s not how it works for some people, everyone’s brain is different & operates at different speeds & strides & so many people on here neglect that & make blanket statements that start to sound insulting when youve heard it for the hundredth time when its only monday. so you start to wonder “is manifestation real” (it is) & that’s feeds into doubting your own future & once that happens, all the rest starts to crumble.
but I’m here to beat it into you (lovingly) that if there’s hope for me out of all people, there’s hope for you. this isn’t a matter of being the only person im existence who cannot manifest. instead, it’s tweaking tiny habits & subconscious beliefs. baby steps. all progress is progress no matter how minuscule you feel that is.

𑣲 distract distract distract. & more distracting. keep your mind occupied so you don’t fall into obsession. take a breath, paint. learn a new skill. get to those to be watched & to be read lists. make your day to day so busy, so interesting, so exciting, that you forget you were even trying to not be obsessing with an outcome. everyday try to find at least one thing your looking forward to daily. no matter how mundane. start a really good show but only watch one episode a day. set a goal to complete one hyper realistic graphite portrait a week. every friday go on a walk until you find a nice bench to people watch for at least twenty minutes, no matter how cold. drink your favorite tea every morning. it can be anything.
𑣲 awareness of your algorithms. if you scroll on tiktok or twitter or tumblr & you repost something that affirms the opposite of what you want … we gotta stop that right here, right now. that’s reinforcing where you claim you don’t wanna be. how are you going to affirm “i have an abundance of money” “i have financial freedom” “i get everything i want” while if we take a scroll through your reposts we see “im so poor” “everything is so expensive & unaffordable” “nothing good ever happens to me” & so on when you want the former to be true? stop engaging with content that reinforces old beliefs no matter how small. watch people online who have what you want, watch manifestation content. consume so much content that it blends either your existing reality & becomes normalized for you.
𑣲 stop catastrophizing. seriously. thinking of the worst case scenario & daydreaming everything will go up in flames will help nobody. not everything will go awry if you don’t do your daily routine unrealistically perfect for six consecutive days. think of stuff that makes you excited & kick your feet like you’re some lovesick school girl. assume the best because the best is yet to come.
𑣲 destroy the mental checklist. married by twenty five, house by twenty eight, kids by thirty. it is societies job to make you subscribe to ideals that you don’t really want. not everyone moves at the same pace. not everyone is meant to do the same thing, the same way. people have different leaning styles & habits & strengths & weaknesses. give yourself grace. your time will come.
𑣲 your desire isn’t a life preserver. it’s a desire. a want. you want to have shiny hair. you want to be able to go do cartwheels around your upper east side new york city apparent. you want a shopping spree at stores with brands you cant even pronounce without having to look at the price tag. however, & this however isn’t meant to shoot you when your down, you will not cease to exist without your manifestation coming to fruition. you will not die without it. it isn’t a need. stop treating it like a scarce resource that’s limited edition. there’s plenty of it to go around.
𑣲 the seed analogy. this could also apply to an online order or a restaurant. take you’re pick. lets go with amazon since it’s the more modern variation out of the three. you order something on amazon, your item has to be packaged & sent off to a mail carrier & go on a plane or a boat or by truck. you’ve already placed the order (desire) & it’s on it’s way to you (the 3d). you don’t obsessively check tracking every other hour. you trust that it will be brought to your doorstep eventually as all mail is.
the easiest way you can shift is simply by not caring…hear me out!
i’m probably by far the most break-taking shifter in the community and i always come back with banger after banger and shift after shift. not caring saved me.
it’s simply because i don’t care. i don’t care about shifting, i don’t care about where i am success-wise, where i am shifting-wise, nothing. i don’t care. i don’t care because i am the term shifting.
the less effort i put into shifting, i realize how simply shifting is mine. shifting is “a become” process, not “a succeed.” you already succeeded when you took a breath and said you’re a shifter. you are the success, not the shift. the shift is what succeeds when you choose to be in your dr. you are the prize, not your desired reality.
this is why i believe that you shouldn’t care. why care when shifting is a part of who you are? it’s as simple as breathing — and that term may be used and abused, but it was never untrue.
you become who you are in your desired reality when you intend to be there. you are who you are meant to be because you intended for it to be that way. you already succeeded. there is no reason to care and to stress about shifting.
let yourself be human. grow in shifting and grow as a person. the more you center around shifting, the harder it becomes because you don’t allow yourself to just sit and be human.

it was the 70s in Tallahassee, Florida, I was at my aunt’s house for the summer. she was fostering a 6 year old girl, McKenzie. my aunt explained that she’s had a record of behavioral issues before, so my aunt was on the fence of adopting her.
the heat and humidity kept all three of us in the house for most of the summer, I tried my best to talk to McKenzie and correct her behavior as she kept breaking my things as well as my aunt’s.
my aunt was having a hard time with her now, and she was heavily considering not adopting her once the fostering window was over.
around the beginning of july, I asked my aunt if I could have my friends over to watch a movie, and she agreed. at this point McKenzie’s behavior was unpredictable so I had given her a talk to ask her to not make such a ruckus. however, she was still invited to watch the movie with us if she behaved.
fast forward to the movie night, McKenzie just stayed in her room the rest of the night. she ended up falling asleep, but she woke up from a nightmare and went to look for me.
I saw her wiping her eyes from her bedroom door and went to ask her what was wrong, with her asking if she could watch the movie with us. I said yes, and I carried her to the couch and cuddled with her for the rest of the night.
that was the first time we had ever bonded, and our relationship only grew from there.
I took her to the park as often as I could, bought her popsicles, took her around my aunt’s neighborhood to smell the flowers, which ended up having us plant some roses in my aunt’s backyard.
we would often play together in the backyard, my aunt would run the hose and we would both run around it, giggling and laughing. i’d tuck her into her bed, make sure she didn’t have any more nightmares.
my aunt noticed she stopped breaking things, she stopped making a mess of her house.
but I didn’t have that much time left with her, McKenzie’s fostering window was nearing its end, and her social worker had just came to do one last welfare check.
I sniffled as I stared at the framed photo McKenzie and I were in, my aunt took it, it was a picture of me holding a hose up in the air and smiling as I watched her run around it.
my friend was visiting me at the time, and he saw me sniffling. he asked if there was a chance I could adopt her, and everything just clicked for me.
so I called McKenzie’s social worker and explained my situation, and what I would need to do in order to formally adopt her. she gave me all of the information I needed and I filed everything I needed in record time.
the papers took two weeks to be processed, and I have not told McKenzie yet. she was starting to act moody again, but this time I could tell why. I didn’t want to tell her about me adopting her, as I was scared the process would go wrong and I’d give her false hope.
she was all packed and waiting for her social worker to pick her up, but her social worker ended up calling me instead and explained that everything was approved, and that the courthouse has finalized everything.
I was now McKenzie’s adoptive mother.
I literally cried tears of joy to the social worker, said thank you, and immediately ran to tell McKenzie. she jumped into my arms and I started crying.
a week later it was time to us to go home, my summer at my aunt’s house was over, and I could show McKenzie her new home.
I said one last goodbye to my aunt, from then on I shifted back to my cr.
that’s my storytime from my most recent shift! i’m definitely going back there as soon as I can, and I can’t wait to spend more time with my daughter 🥹
