so... i just found out that Hades is Persephone's uncle... and Zeus, her own father, is the one who basically gave Hades the okay for kidnapping her, his own daughter... now why did that happen? seriously, so many other ways this could have been written. could have made Demeter a cheater (it's her right at this point) or that she found a baby Persephone with no god or deity or creature willing to admit its their kid and so she adopted her or something. SO MANY WAYS OTHER THAN MAKING HADES HER FLIPPING UNCLE BRO.

now i feel like a hypocrite because i'm Egyptian and my ancestors were definitely no better in their legends AND in their real life, but i am riding on the hopes that my ancestors were commoners and didn't do the 'keep it in the family' stuff.

anyway, i'm definitely rewriting Hades and Persephone's story in my head. keeping the grumpy who kidnaps the sunshine, but changing that he's her uncle.

also when i read the original Homer poem, tell me why i got surprised that Persephone cried when Hades kidnapped her? like, of course she'll cry! a man surrounded by shadows and weird creatures just abducted her out of nowhere while she was picking flowers! yet somehow that just never crossed my mind, i truly thought she was calmly letting him kidnap her.

i have issues.

deadpool and wolverine was amazing but i am curious about how cassandra nova managed to get inside wade's brain without hers getting scrambled. i didn't read the comics, so i won't act like a know it all in that aspect, but i do know that when charles xavier tried to do his telepathy thing on wade he ended up literally scrambling his own brain or something like that, and apparently that's a running theme in the comics if anyone tries to read his brain (if what i heard was true) so how come Cassandra could do it without a problem? i'm actually very curious about that

I’ve talked about this before, but movie Deadpool’s mind is much less fucked up than comic Deadpool’s. Like comic deadpool has lost his memory, multiple times, gone through every trauma imaginable, which probably leads to more memory loss, has voices in his head, and like a billion other things.

Movie Deadpool’s ‘insanity’ feels less like insanity and more like ‘I’m doing a bit to make people uncomfortable because I find it funny’ or ‘I’m playing up my stupidity and insanity as a joke’

Comic deadpool has lost his mind, and somehow, every chapter it gets worse

First, after an aggressive war on Gaza City and its revival, we were displaced from our 3-storey house in which I and my family of 3 members live.

My father's family consists of 8 members

My grandfather, may God have mercy on him, was martyred by occupation aircraft on 12/14/2023.

The one who was martyred while he was leaving the house to check on our house next to him, which could not be reached due to a brutal enemy who does not differentiate between anyone in death, went out to check on our house, which we were not in because of my displacement to Rafah, me, my father, and our families due to the intensity of the fighting in Khan Yunis, and after that A few days ago, our store in which my father and brothers work was bombed by occupation aircraft. He was working to gather his strength from it and meet the needs of our house, which no longer exists due to the bombing. We ask you to help and contribute, even if just a little, by donating to us so that we can compensate for a little of what we lost.
