Inciting Incident - a piece for the Animorphs30 Zine uwu
thank you @ animophs-30
I don't know what to tell you. Armand torturing someone who doesn't deserve it is my happy place.
Kelly Boyle: I wanna start with you, Rolin. I need you answer my biggest, lingering, burning question about season two. Do you have an answer about how frequently Armand was wiping Louis' memory? Rolin Jones: Yeah, probably. But I don't know how... important it is. For me - and everybody - Assad probably has a different idea, Jacob does, and maybe some of my writers - writer's room do. I love that. I think that's okay. For me, I actually think it's very, very, very little. And I actually think, and everyone - many people - probably disagree with me. I think Louis did ask him in Sausalito to erase it. I think he did.
I feel him.
Drugs are morally neutral. Doing or not doing drugs is not an indicator of how good a person is. There are addicts whoād give you the shirt off their back, and sober people who poison the homeless for fun.
āIt just means you have to work double as hard as most people!ā
Well maybe I donāt WANT to work double as hard as abled people!! Maybe I deserve a BREAK!! Maybe Iāve been working MORE THAN double as hard for MY WHOLE LIFE and itās led me to immense burnout & caused me to develop several MORE disabilities!! Maybe I should be ACCOMMODATED so I donāt have to KILL MY BODY AND BRAIN over trying to do what abled people can do!! Maybe I DONāT have to work double as hard!! Maybe if thereās the option to let me NOT work double as hard, I should have it, because Iām already working double as hard JUST TO SURVIVE!!
Why do you think disabled people deserve less rest than mentally & physically abled people?
when I was in high school I had a literature teacher who had a policy of unlimited extra credit. All you had to do was read a book by a notable author (his discretion) and have a little chat with him after school to prove that you read it. No limits, no need for variety (one month I decided I really loved Kurt Vonnegut and just read everything of his I could get my hands on).
Yes, I was tearing through books constantly, and talking to this teacher at least weekly. Because even though I always loved reading as a kid, literature was always a very weak subject for me in terms of a teaching-to-standardized-test school setting (I just do awful on "what color were the curtains" type multiple choice questions. Those details don't stick in my memory THEY JUST DON'T). But that didn't matter for this class. I could just read my way out of any bad test score. I have always had fond memories of how I "fudged" my way through that class and "abused' the extra credit policy.
I was thinking about it again today, and only just now realized that he absolutely tricked me into being well-read, while my teenage self thought I was totally getting away with something. THAT MOTHERFUCKER. I hope he's doing well.
oh my god
I've seen some posts trying to make fun of former gifted kids by comparing them to former student athletes who insist that they could have gone pro if not for a specific injury, and those posts always backfire, because my reaction to them is "You're right, we should treat former student athletes with more compassion than we currently do"
I remember as a kid the nearby small town had a "computer expert" who had a full storefront and office. If someone bricked their computer or it loaded with viruses he'd factory reset it for them and try to get it working again. He'd also buy, refurbish, rest, and resell old computers. But the main thing he advertised was if people brought him a computer and a list of programs they wanted installed on it he'd get them all set up. Flat rate of like 20 bucks.
Didn't realize until I was older and like, looking back on some of the tech stuff my mom needed help with and knew more about how software is priced that he was pirating it. Guy had a whole business set up where people who didn't know how computers worked would pay him 20 bucks to install Microsoft Office on their laptop because it was cheaper than buying it in the store and they didn't want to be bothered with figuring out how to install programs even if they could afford them normally. Like that guy was practically printing money well into the early 2000s. Very good hustle. Only small business owner I respect.
A while back there was a tiktok going āOoo this is the best restaurant and Iām not telling you where it is ;) youāre going to have to guess ;)))ā
And another guy stitched it with a whole breakdown of her most recent posts to go āThe day before you posted this you posted another video saying you met this celebrity and he had just posted that he was in this city. You also posted a video in a hotel room and after searching up hotels in this city, we can tell it was this hotel because the wallpaper in your video matches the wallpaper in pictures on their website. By looking up restaurants by this hotel we can tell you went to this specific restaurantā and he was right
And people called him a creep, but I think we should take this as a moral lesson to lie about ourselves online more. Iām actually a talking dog and I live in a Montreal poutinerie
i just think he would talk during movies
happy disability pride month to mean cripples, nasty addicts, people with down syndrome who arent nice and talk constant shit, wheelchair users that WILL run you over, autists that dont care and arent about to pretend to, people who lie to their psychiatrists, people that sit on the floor in public places with no benches, amputees that lie profusely about "what happened"; to the "noncompliant", the "drug seeking", the "mean", the "difficult" and the "undeserving", and so on and so forth, i love us all and we deserve the world actually mwah mwah
