Steph and Bruce do not have a father-daughter relationship.
Their relationship is the middle/high School teacher/coach who was mean and belittling and at times cruel to you. Only for them to praise you years later and tell you how they missed you and how sad it is you stopped practicing your craft.
As a childhood know-it-all who has grown into the Weird Facts Person. Please know that sharing wonder is my love language. Iām not trying to ālook smartā Iām trying to share the joy and excitement and nothing makes me happier. Tell me your weird niche knowledge back I promise thatās all I want
I get such whiplash whenever I am reminded that awful people can have normal interest. Because wdym an islamaphobic anti-vaxxer blog liked my Scooby Doo post?!

āthis character is actually an evil, irredeemable monster and I hope they die!ā and then itās literally a child
Puzzled šŖš§©
āI can fix himā āI can make him worseā okay well I can break him back down to what he was before. I can undo three decades of fixing himself that he gave up so much for and tried so hard to achieve. He was broken and repaired and I can break him again. I didnāt make him any worse than he already was underneath all that effort he put into changing. But now heās the perfect tool I need. I am Louisā teeth and claws and I am too tired to carry on his legacy, but I can still unleash a monster that will wreak destruction upon them all.
Hey but what if it turns out he is the man he became? What if when all the hurt and pain rips the maks away, it turns out he isn't the monster both of you saw him as, but the good man the town knew him as? What if he proves you wrong? What if he does as he always said he would do? What if the cycle stops with you?
What if the cycle does end with me but not because I change but because my grief and anger finally consume me? What if the fact that the only person I thought could understand me who was like me actually being pure and good, is what breaks me? What if the cycle ends only because my hate for the world is finally outweighed not by love but by hate for myself.

Rewatching WandaVison makes me hate Multiverse of Madness and how the MCU destroyed Wanda's character so much. Not because they made her a villain but because the way they did it was awful.
Her character throughout the franchise has been her desire for a family and her realization that she doesn't want to and doesn't have to hurt people. Those two things have been her guiding traits and WandaVison pits them against each other making a compelling clash of morals.
She is an interesting antagonist/protagonist in WandaVison. She is initially unaware of the harm she is causing people and the hex itself. When she is made aware she doesn't care, and it's not that she enjoys it or wants it, but it is easier to justify if it's happening and she knows this is her only chance at having her family.
In the end her having to face her utopia turned against her and the harm she's done and accepting that she can't hurt people and that being more important than her family is a good ending.
If they wanted her to become a villain they could have leaned into that but just having her come back and be evil for some reason defeats the whole arc of WandaVison.
holy shit I just discovered this crazy technique for being right almost all of the time it's called "double checking something before boldly stating it as if it were fact" this could be the next big thing. this could be the song of the summer

itās been TEN YEARS and you guys are still hating mabel?? sheās literally a kid?? a really kind kid?? a sweetie pie??? a pumpkin???? a little bumblebee?????
always so amazed at nbc communityās decision to make the zombie outbreak an actual real canon thing that happened and not a scary story or a dream or something. they were straight up going to die. abed fully gave up his life bc he just trusted troy would save them.
I want people to know that I'm an educated hater. When I say I hate a character it's not because I don't understand their complexity or how they're necessary for the story. I might even find them interesting in what they represent or how they mirror other things. I just think they're an asshole.
