Fanfic and Writing Commissions!!

Hello!! I am a very broke college student and at the suggestion of my friend I have decided to open writing commissions. It could be anything from a fanfic to an essay to a monologue. I can also just do editing (which the rate will be different for). I love writing and I like to think I'm pretty good at it. I've decided to charge 15 USD per page. I use Google docs to write, so you can use that as reference for the size of a page. It will be Arial font at size 11, single spaced. (This can obviously change if the commission is an essay).

I will write basically anything you want. Smut, fluff, angst, whatever. The only things I will NOT write is rape or sexual assault (when used as the smut itself), incest, or underaged sex. Dubcon will depend on context. I'm open to writing most if not all kinks.

Fandoms I can write for will be in the tags, but if you want something that's not there feel free to ask me, I might've forgotten to add it. Payment will be via PayPal or Venmo. The Room: a Haibun

I don’t have a picture, not a scrap of proof. All I have is the memory of that room. It wasn’t very big, but to me it was infinite.

The thing is when you’re small, everything looks different. A toy is a friend, a bully a sister, a room a portal. And when I entered my room, it could be anything and everything. A castle, a forest, a shelter, a prison. Safety and fear all rolled into one.

It was so long ago now, but I’ll never forget it. The soft carpet, the dusty windows, the dim light, and the shaky fan. But the thing I remember the most is the murals. The murals made the room, the room was the murals. Each wall was a different scene, a different quote, a different comfort. One of Pooh and Christopher, another of Lumpy and Roo. All beautiful and painted with love you could feel.

I think back to that room often, if it even still exists. I wonder if the new people painted it over. Or if when they saw that room they knew. They knew about the memories, the laughter, the cries, and the screams. About the promises, the hatred, the games we don’t speak of. I wonder if they know how much pain and how much joy could exist in such a little room. If they know that me and her spent the best and worst years of our childhood in there.

Childhood dies quickly;

Do you love Harry Potter but hate JK Rowling?

So do I! I grew up loving Harry Potter but I can’t morally support a woman who thinks trans folk don’t deserve to live. So I’ve decided to start a new project. Harry Potter Transformed.

Basically, I’ll be going through each book and rewriting it in the image of a book series that values everyone-the way we thought it did when it first came out. That means adding more diversity. Characters of color who don’t have stereotypical names. Openly queer and trans characters. Disabled characters. You name it. Hogwarts is open for all.

Since I don’t own the rights to Harry Potter I will be writing it all myself. I won’t be copying her writing word for word. At most, I’ll keep a few quotes. Technically, this is just a fanfiction. She can’t come after me.

I’ll be putting it here on tumblr and on Ao3. Comments and feedback are very helpful. If you have any headcanons you think would be fun to include PLEASE send me an ask, I’d love to include people’s headcanons and really make this a Harry Potter for The People.

Two things I will not be doing include adding swears that aren’t originally in the books and adding smut. The original books are for a middle grade audience and I intend to keep it that way. And also these are minors.

My ultimate goal is just to make a version of Harry Potter we can read without the guilt of supporting a disgusting transphobe. I’ll be posting polls frequently asking The People about ships and headcanons for queer and disabled representation so make sure you follow so you don’t miss any.
