There’s a brief flutter of wings and Starscream flushes, crossing his arms over his chest as he looks aside. “You look acceptable.”

“What, only acceptable? Come on, you can say I look stunning. Or maybe even just nice.”

Smokescreen pouts, doorwings flutter in return as he sheathes his sword for now, “Or, maybe you could dress up with me, Star?”

“I have no desire to dress up.” Star almost looks like he’s going to start pouting, but at least it’s a fair sight better than him snapping and growling at people. Looking Smokescreen up and down again, he moves over and gently reaches out to adjust the cloak on his shoulders. “If you’re going to wear this and you want to show off the sword, you need the cape draped different. Opposite shoulder, easy for your free hand to grab. The idea is that if someone were to come at a knight with their own sword, they hold folds of cloth in one hand to potentially catch a blade and help better deflect it. This also ensures that your sword is easier to draw since you don’t have to worry about the cape being in the way.”

My feeling for you has not changed. Even through this war, even though we had fought with each other not just in words but in battle too. We were so close as friends and yet I long to be more during those times as well and I still do. Nothing is going to change my feelings for you, not even if I’m frozen in time for thousands and thousands of years. 

Starscream actually startles a bit as he starts to read but it becomes a bit more obvious to him once he gets about half way through. Blushing faintly, he holds the note and tenderly pockets it, not wanting to lose it. "Thank you, Skyfire.."

"You really think that would be a good idea?" Starscream is quiet but he's not disapproving of the idea. "Do you even have room for two more mechs?"

"I only have one and it's the predacon." Star admitted quietly. "So then.. you wouldn't be staying there while I'm there?"

His wings drooped a bit but he was doing his best not to whine. He need to be gracious for even being invited like this.

"... That was the plan." Thundercracker rumbles. "When I'm not here I don't need the space, more or less. And I assumed you were looking for quarters on Earth."

He honestly didn't really need them. It was an absent thought that let him get his hopes up again that he could attempt to try to patch things up with his old trine mate.

"Oh.. right, that would work." Star murmurs quietly, looking down. "Thank you.."

"I'm... Starting to spend more time on Cybertron. A little." Thundercracker rumbled. "And this warehouse is already set up for Cybertronian residence. Think of it like... a guest house."

He pauses, then adds, "I'd even let you do some minor remodelling, with the condition that you tell the EDC humans and leave their walkways up."

"You probably want me to be nice to the humans too?" Star didn't sound sarcastic or angry, just a little tired. He couldn't see why Thundercracker was friends with any of them. Buster was good. He didn't talk back.

"I... Wouldn't mind coming to visit. As long as you don't mind me being here." It grated on his pride and his spark whirled anxiously at the thought of being in close proximity again.
