You probably will have someone in particular in mind and I certainly do as I'm writing this, but here it is: If there's a trans woman with a platform who keeps using the platform to do stupid and/or harmful things over and over again, and you feel caught between the rock of "transfems are treated as more disposable and experience way harsher social punishment because of transmisogyny and are already in a very precarious position" and the hard place of "this shit fucking sucks", you do not have to litigate it in public.
You can just unfollow her, block her, whatever, and if you gotta talk about it you can chat to a friend. You don't need to post "this behaviour sucks but [10,000 words about transmisogyny]" or the worse alternative "I don't want to contribute to the pile-on, but [10,000 words contributing to the pile-on]". You can just unfollow.
